Firstly, Pickup. We went to the Turo Valet parking lot near LAX to collect the car and waited 3 HOURS to collect the car because they were moving through bookings on a First Come First Serve basis via a waiting list that you added your name to when you arrived. They gave me Turo credit for my inconvenience but in any case, was a major disappointment. The car was dirty (bird droppings on the boot, dirt and dust all over) and had the front bumper replaced, nothing like the photos. The front dash and the bonnet shook when the car was travelling more than 45 mph, which was very concerning. The windscreen wipers were hopeless and the washer fluid was broken because the cap was full and nothing came out. The car really struggled moving between gears. Return was fine but the Turo staff at this facility need to up their game. I know I didn’t pay much per day for this vehicle, but certainly wasn’t even worth that much.

The pickup/dropoff process at the valet lot was really smooth, the car worked fine and I appreciated saving on gas. It wasn't super clean, with a couple of items left from last person, but reasonable. The maintenance required message was on and I couldn't get any windshield wiper juice when I wanted to clean the window, either was empty or user error. But minor issues, was happy with the rental overall.
