Hello, my name is James Philip Eastwood and the one take-away from this summary is that I have been a vehicle lover from a very early age and it continues today. I was born in 1984 and have been driving since I was a little kid because I grew up on a farm in CT. With that being said, I have had the ability to drive trucks, tractors, and cars with both automatic and manual transmissions from a very young age. Upon turning 15 and a 1/2, I was able to get my learner's permit in CT and received my CT driver's license in 2001 just before turning 17 on my first try of the licensing exam. I also took a motorcycle training class in which I gained the motorcycle riders endorsement on my CT license in 2005. My first car was 1991 Chevrolet Corsica that was absolutely horrible, but I still loved her and kept her until 2004 when I bought a 1997 Nissan 240SX with the factory 5-spd. My next car was a 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6-spd purchased in 2008 even though I still owned the 240SX. When I moved out to Las Vegas in 2009, the G35 Coupe and the 240SX came with me. I got my NV driver's license in 2009 as well and my motorcycle endorsement transferred over to the new NV license. I sold the G35 Coupe in 2012 because I bought my currently listed and well-loved 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP with the factory-stock LS3 Corvette V8 and factory-stock 6-spd Tremec manual transmission that I bought in 2011! I had finally moved up to an adult vehicle with the 4-door sedan of that G8, but I still wanted a driver's car hence I searched long and hard to find one with that particular engine/drivetrain combination. I sold the 240SX in late 2012 as well. Because of the drifting craze out west, I knew that the high-demand for my 240SX would allow me to garner a greater price for her and in the end, I sold her for more money in 2012 than I paid for her in 2004! So right now, I own a 2006 Honda CBR1000RR, my 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP, and a 1997 Lexus LX450. I love my paddock of vehicles and have never been more pleased with my ownerships than right now. I have the motorcycle to commute in a fun way, the SUV to go camping, and the car for errands as well as for nights out on the town in style with the wife, friends and/or family! I love and care for all of my vehicles, past and present and hope that if you allow me to rent one of your vehicles that you'll understand that it will be treated with the same respect and care that I treat my own vehicles. A car/truck is a huge investment for anyone and it deserves to be treated that way even by the people that don't own the car i.e. people should drive safely, park with courtesy and consideration, and there should be no keying/tire-slashing of another person's car in revenge for a wrongdoing. Maybe I have a utopian view of the car culture of America but at the very least, these are the values that I hold dear when it comes to the automobile and drivers as a whole. Thank you for your time.
