The transaction was fine until unfortunately Eoin suffered a punctured tire during the trip. He called my insurance instead of AAA. As there was no accident, so not sure why he had to call my insurance. When he called me, I was a little surprised as my tires had been recently replaced so I just wanted to get as much information as possible as to what happened. He did have to replace my tire (Thanks!) and I figured his insurance with Turo would cover. I really did try to help him with the reimbursement process and even put in a support ticket to Turo regarding the situation. Unfortunately, Turo did not reimburse him which is beyond me. Obviously Eoin was not happy which I can understand but I would hope his disappointment should be targeted towards Turo and not the renter as it was beyond my control. I think he might have misunderstood my intentions to get the situation solved which is unfortunate. Hope he has better luck with his rides in the future. I wish him the best.
hi - hope the car worked out okay. in the future, please pay attention to the residential permit zones on the street signs to avoid potentially getting a ticket. i have an "R" permit but you parked the car in an "S" zone. thanks.
