Mike was just amazing. He was very communicable and did everything he could to make our trip as fun as possible. The car was much better than I expected and drove really good. It is a perfect car if you are planning to have a trip to the mountains. It has good winter tires and 4 wheel drive works just great. I will definitely rent this car again when I come to Denver next time. Thanks again, Mike!
The owner of this car was extremely nice, gracious, helpful, and everything you would ever want from an owner. The car was fine and drives well, but physically was in just okay condition . Note that the rear defrost does not work and we could not get the front wind shield wiper fluid to come out (we tried refilling it). Also, there are some issues with the parking break that the owner is fixing. The interior is kind of scuffed up. If you're looking for a basic mode of transportation that offers 4wd without a concern about physical looks and can handle a few small issues that don't affect the car's handling, then this is a great deal! Also, the owner is so nice, that it makes up for any of the car's flaws.
This vehicle was very disappointing. Not only did the car smell like a bar filled with chain-smoking loggers, but it was filthy! The pictures are not accurate either. There is quite a bit of exterior damage (cracked bumpers and missing wheel fenders) and the inside is very worn (torn leather and raw arm rests). The car is very noisy, which is pretty scary if you're going somewhere remote. The car did get us where we needed to go and we appreciated that, but we had to buy gas (it had maybe a quarter tank in it, but he didn't expect any more to be left in it), and air fresheners on the way to our destination to mask the smell of smoke and dust. I would not recommend this vehicle to another person. It needs to be registered and inspected, as both are expired/ don't exist for Colorado law or even Texas (in which the vehicle is plated). It sounded like it needed maintenance and it definitely needs a deep clean before being rented out to other people.
