I rented this Yaris directly from RelayRides and it was super clean and well maintained. It was a little odd to pick up and drop off behind a hotel but I'm not complaining. I got great gas mileage and it was a great deal!
The car is in great condition. It's solid and efficient, and it has lots of space to accomodate your luggage if you're coming straight from the airport. Great for highway driving too. Pickup and dropoff from the airport was very convenient. I would definitely rent this car again in the future.
I've been renting from TURO SFO for the last few weeks. All of their vehicles have been great, but this one has possibly been the best for me (including the price). I would always recommend them for anyone. In any of their vehicles
I actually have no idea what this car is like. I did NOT receive the car I paid for. It was in the shop for repairs. They offered no alternative that was comparable. I paid for a convertible. I got a small sedan. I'm not sure if the owner tried to ignore the check engine light and assume the car was good to rent, or if it was a failure on Turo's part. Either way, it was disappointing.
Clean, nice running KIA Optima Hybrid. TURO staff was great in communication during the whole rental period. The windshield already had a tiny chip when I've picked up the car. Luckily it didn't grow into a crack while the rental period lasted. The radio stopped working once, but we were able to reset it with the tiny reset pin hole located next to the volume button. Turned out its a common manufacturing problem with KIA Optima.. Overall good experience, 1 less star because of the nerves the chip and radio gave me. I would rent this car again if they fix the windshield chip.
The process was simple enough, However the car was the filthiest car I have ever rented. Pet hair all over the car, dog slobber all over the rear windows, filthy cup holders. And multiple dings and dents all over the Audi Q7 that I rented. It seemed quite beat up. I had higher expectations.
Your audi was amazing! And the diesel fuel was an added PLUS because of the price. Unfortunately, we got a parking ticket while we were using it. My fiance didn't read the parking signs and parked in front of a high school. I'M SO SORRY ABOUT THAT BY THE WAY! He will pay for it in full. Thank you again for letting us use your vehicle for our wonderful trip to San Francisco.
Best car rental value and car I've ever used (and I've rented a lot of cars). Pick-up and drop-off was easy and straightforward (though the shuttle driver for the hotel spoke little English and dropped us 300 yards from the pick-up location, for no apparent reason).
The staff at Turo SFO was extremely nice and helpful. Pickup and dropoff went very smoothly - faster than traditional car rentals. However, our shuttle driver from the airport didn't understand that wanted "Turo", and instead dropped us off at the Westin hotel. (He didn't seem to understand much English). We finally found the right place after several minutes of looking around and asking people.
The car was clean, sleek, smooth, and new. It helped make our San Francisco trip very comfortable!
Love using Turo, the convenience is great! This particular car had some mechanical issues that made it really uncomfortable and a little frightening to drive. When we called Turo, the only way to exchange it was to go all the way back to the airport and we couldn't do that. They coudn't bring us a different car to make the exchange. We were able to continue to drive it even though it vibrated quite a bit. The other glitch was that there was no usb port and we didn't realize it. Still, I do like using Turo - this was our second experience and the ease with which we get and return the car is wonderful!
Was expecting to have an electric car experience. Turo Attendant didn't even realize it had an outlet. Didn't include plug or charging network card so wasn't able to plug in anywhere. It was a decent enough hybrid.
My overall experience with turo was excellent. Easy pick up and drop off. The car was nice , its a nice drop top, it had navigation that's what I wanted the most , back up camera for those tight parking spots. I would recommend this car and would rent it again.
The car gobbling up gas as crazy. it feels oldish, smell oldish, drives oldish. It was even problematic to open the door with the key, because it is kind of broken. Don't want to drive it anymore. Waste of money. it is a car and it drives, though.
The customer service was great, especially the young lady who I dropped off with. The car was a mess. Here are the issues that I had. 1. I reserved an accord, got a cobalt. 2. The drivers rear light had been broken (was in trunk) and a new one installed but apparently never hooked up. The left blinker never worked and I got pulled over for it. Thankfully no ticket 3. The aux port had a broken cord stuck in it- couldn't be used. 4. Headrests were broken 5. Shift knob piece broken 6. A/c makes a loud noise, radio has to be turned on loud to drown out. 7. Brake rotors are warped and makes it scary to slow down from highway speeds, death wobble. 8. Headlights are messed up. 9. Car smells really bad. I bought air fresheners. 10. Has a hitch extension that can't be removed. Super annoying. All in all, this car was a piece of junk and should be removed from the system.
Service was great. Quick turn around on getting another driver signed up. Unfortunately the car was not up to par. You would assume that a 2015 vehicle with only 27 thousand or so would be fantastic. Not the case. The shocks were non existent, and every time the wheel was turned to the left after 20 minutes of driving, it made a squealing sound. The vehicle did not feel safe. But at that point we were hours from the pick up point in the middle of our trip. Definitely would consider this before booking again.
The bus driver for the Aloft/Westin hotel dropped us in front of the Aloft hotel building. It would have been fine if there were signed showing us where to go. We walked around for a bit and then asked people who told us to walk to the back of the building. This was our first time renting from Turo.
The car drove as expected but a few hours after renting the car the replace engine oil pops up and we were concern that prolong driving may damage the owner's car since we are renting for three days.
3 is bcz of they gave me the car on starting which is not mailed me nd that car was not good condition later u cld them nd said my problem then they exchanged vth other car If they given the second car on first time I would have rated them vth 5 stars
My husband and I rented the Subaru for 2 days; it was a great experience with Turo! The Turo staff was very accommodating and understanding with our needs. Very affordable, car drove great and gas mileage was good. We rented a cabin up in the hills and this car was perfect for all the windy roads; we felt very safe and secure!
Everything was very smooth, convenient and nice. As well as fast. The best part was having an inconspicuous car to travel the city in. With the Turo car we looked more like locals so we weren't calling out much attention.
I would love to give this trip 5 stars, the car was awesome, the Turo staff was awesome, but because of the shuttle ride to the car it looses a star. The shuttle driver was very rude and would not drive to the Turo area and instead told me I could walk and pointed.
SFO turo experience was awesome. Lot attendant Mychal was efficient, fast, funny and handsome as heck. Has to add that in there. :) If you're renting the smart car and have never driven one before, it's definitely a different experience!
Rather poor experience - booked a car and got confirmed. Then they downgraded the car because the category I requested had somehow wasnt available. I asked for a refund for the rental price difference whic was promised - yet to see that come through.
Easy to get to the turo location. Car is small and doesnt have a lot of power but was great for city driving. I thought it had a bad transmission because it can lag if you gas it but its just the way they drive. Got great parking and gas mileage. Wouldn't recommend this car for someone who needs to do a lot of highway driving as you cant go very fast before the wind pushes you pretty dramatically. Turo attendants were great and gave me a credit when the car was late for pickup because the person before me was late dropping off. Will rent from turo again.
DO NOT RENT FROM TURO SFO. THEY ARE THIEVES. THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU.
I called them saying i got a $68 ticket, and they told me over phone that i can just leave the money inside the car with the ticket when i drop off the car.
I DID IT.. i PERSONALLY SHOWED their employee when dropping off and they STOLE THE MONEY, DIDN'T PAY the ticket and CHARGED ME $78 dollars for something i PAID ALREADY. THat's not the first time one of their employees try to STEAL from customers.
DO NOT USE TURO. Contact me if you experienced something similar with them, because i'm preparing a big lawsuit against TURO with a couple of other people. The more people the better. I will provide the lawyers for free. Don't worry about it.
I arrived at the Turo Kiosk to find the car in front and waiting. The agent was super quick about the pics and video taken of the car and I was on my way. The car itself was a great ride, clean inside and out. Can't beat the price.
Oddly enough, there was no windshield wiper fluid but it wasn't a big deal.
Overall, it was fantastic service and I look forward to the next time I use Turo
The car runs greater and it's a gas saver. But it smells like cigarettes insides, especially when you turn on the heat or AC. It makes me nausea quite often. The interior could have been cleaner. Other than that, service was great and beyond what I expected. The attendant waited for me after midnight just so I can pick up the car after landing. Also, another awesome staff just drove me to the airport since she saw me in a rush. I can't ask for more for this service! Big thumb uppppp
