Car is a bit older. Radio and unlock button on key had reoccurring issues. No aux cable. Engine made an odd noice when first turning on that almost gave me a heart attack. Few dings and scratches that were Barely noticeable but the car was a pleasure to drive.
Very nice ride, perfect for Miami weather. I used it to drive to the Everglades and had an amazing time. There was some confusion at the valet on pickup, but I asked them to call David and he sorted it out on the phone. Would have rated 5 stars otherwise.
Was a great experience, if you're fan of manual cars, that's a nice one. Mechanically in great shape. The hard top wasn't functioning though, unfortunately. The rest was good and David is a cool person, enjoyed the trip overall.
So we rented David's Miata for four days to take it from Miami to Key West. We arrived at the pick up location and were told to ask the valet and request the car. There was some confusion by the valet as they said we need to pay an $8 charge but then they resolved the issue. Unfortunately this process took about half an hour. We would have preferred to pick up the car directly from David and receive a walk through of the car.
Regarding the car here's the good: Good tires Brakes worked Good fuel mileage (about $25 from Miami to Key West and back) A/C was ice cold Surprisingly comfortable ride
The bad: -Driver's side window control was broken and practically unusable - takes about 5 minutes of fiddling with a broken switch to have to close
The car is just amazing, fun and in a very good condition for its years. We haven't had a chance to see David in person but he left us detailed instructions about how to pick up and drop off the car by the valet parking. All in all, it was a great trip. Highly recommend to everyone.
