I did my best to cater to all of Marjorie's extra requests including coordinating options for a pontential alternate pick-up location, accommodating a last-minute late pick-up request, and approving an extension on the return time. Throughout the entire rental period I responded to Marjorie's messages within minutes. And yet she still returned the car an hour late, complained about having to pay to extend the rental (which is standard Turo fee policy if it extends beyond 24hr increments from start time), and left the car somewhat messy (not terrible, just some small scraps of trash I had to pick up) and with less gas in it than when she picked it up. There was also a small scratch / cosmetic damage on the side panel which appeared to be new but is too small to confirm in the trip start photos. Marjorie claims she was not aware of causing the damage when I brought it to her attention, and proceeded to try to buff it out with her hand. But it's an older car so I usually let those things slide. All in all it wasn't the worst experience, but after dealing with so many wonderful, friendly, and responsible renters through Turo, it left me a bit disappointed.
