I booked this car to use while leading a yoga retreat in AZ and unfortunately had my first negative Turo experience. When I picked up the car, it was clear that it had not been cleaned in between trips (pet hair, trash and dirt everywhere, even fingernail clippings - gross!). When I contacted the host, he apologized and said he would make a deduction from my total cost to account for the extra cleaning I would have to do myself, which I appreciated! But over two weeks later, when I reached out as to the status of this credit, he said he was waiting on my positive review to make the adjustment. I told him the $$ was meant to cover my additional costs to clean the car, and I thought that other users had a right to know my actual experience. Additionally, the car had temporary plates and registration when I picked it up, which expired during my trip. This made me uncomfortable driving the car. While the host was communicative, and even accommodated some small pick up and drop off time changes, I would not book with him again due to the condition the car was in when I picked it up and how that situation was eventually handled.

My phone died day before flying out. Was supposed to get picked up at airport. Had to take taxi to the car instead. No problem. Was guessing on time of pickup. Got to the car early. Used cabbies phone to call owner. Their phone was turned off I guess. Tried someone else’s phone. Nothing. Couldn’t get thru to owner that I was there at the car. Felt uncomfortable at site location...storage units. Car windows were filthy both inside and out. Wiper blades shot. Replaced one of them. EMails to the owner took a while to get a response back to me. Upon return of car rental owner wasn’t there. Called them. Said didn’t you get my msg? Gave me lockbox code to put car keys into. Later on saw msg came thru at 9:55am. Meetup time was 10am. No internet at site to see info even if I wanted to. Lack of good communication is my complaint.

Fedha was great to meet with, made pickup and drop off super easy at the airport, would rent again!
