My first Turo experience was exceptional. Loved the Kia Soul! Drove great, so comfy and roomy. Love the red color as well. Eric was great from the get-go, answering all my endless questions with kindness and promptness. Was understanding about my train being a little late, as well! Thank you so much.

Totally loved the car! I've owned many roadsters in my lifetime (MGBs, Alfa Romeo Spider, BMW Z3, Audi TT), but Eric's car is cooler than all of them. More power, better handling, and the knockout styling... wow! A tip for future renters: bring soft luggage only. With the top down, there is very little secured (locked) space in the boot. Fortunately I brought only a laptop bag, albeit one stuffed to capacity. It fit under the top but a suitcase most certainly won't. Putting up or down the top is a process, but after some practice, it can be done in 30-40 seconds and I didn't mind having to get out of the car to do so even though my last few roadsters had an electrically actuated top (Z3, TT) or an ingeniously designed top that could be flipped down with one arm from the passenger seat (Alfa Romeo Spider). The Solstice's top design adds to its charm (especially since it looks so good either up or stowed) instead of being a real inconvenience. It's MUCH better than putting the top up or down on an MGB or even, say, a modern-day Jeep Wrangler. At first interior storage space was laughable, particularly the seat pockets on the FRONT of the seats, but they actually have some use (for a sunblock stick, or sunglasses, or even a hat). General Motors did almost as good as a job styling the interior as it did the exterior: it is classic and beautiful. Eric was a great host and pickup and dropoff was extremely quick and easy. I flew into and out of Portland and took mass transit (MAX + city buses) to his place in Vancouver, with the aid of transit directions on Google Maps. It cost only a few dollars and took roughly 1.5 hours each way. Those in more of a rush can take an Uber, of course. This is a fantastic choice for sports car lovers and those looking for the best time driving the Oregon Coast and the awesome backroads through western Oregon and Washington!
