I wouldn't recommend renting from this host. I rented the Nissan Altima and the vehicle was filthy and the spare tire department was filled with dirty and molded water. The host was in denial about the car being in filthy condition. The vehicle was rented out with pre-existing mechanical and safety concerns. The car needed a wheel bearing and I had to spend almost $500 of my personal money for the mechanical cost and it took him over a week to refund me the money and during my rental experience the vehicle needed an alignment and tires for the vehicle and it was told by the mechanic the vehicle needed all four brakes and rotors replaced on the vehicle And the host only sent money to replace just 2. It was also brought to the host attention of the vehicle needing tires for the vehicle in which he failed to address the matter in a timely manner. I had to detail his vehicle due to the vehicle being filthy and I spent a lot of my time and money and took time off of work to address these concerns. I had to drive in very nasty weather with my children in this vehicle in such condition. The host still owes me money and have failed to give me what is owed to me for having to rebook the car when I was receiving monthly discounts. The host care nothing about the safety of his customers and only cared about getting paid for the vehicle but did not want to put any money into the vehicle to help keep it running. The tires were so ball to the point where the wires were starting to show out of the tires and it was unsafe to drive the vehicle back to the host and I was forced to have to have the vehicle towed and in retaliation The Host came up with bogus cleaning fees and submitted a reimbursement after all the trouble I went through with this vehicle and still I have not received the money that is owed to me but yet he wants to request money from me when the car was nasty when I received it. The host is money hungry and only cares about the money aspect of things. If you decide to rent from this person make sure you cover yourself because he's even claiming he had a full tank of gas in the vehicle when I rented it and that was not true neither according to the pictures. I was in this vehicle For nearly 3 months and I've been going through nothing but problems because of the mechanical condition and the negligence of him taking care of mechanical issues with in a timely Manner. The Host is very distant honest and will go through any means necessary just to get a buck. If you check out another one of his reviews and another one of his Vehicles you would clearly see some of the same issues experienced by one of the other customers as far as getting put inside of a vehicle with mechanical issues. I detailed his car and I took care of his vehicle and the vehicle was in a lot better cleaning condition than when I received it. I had to put up with billing issues and glitches in the system and have lost money and have suffered losses with this particular transaction and I would not recommend this not even on my worst enemy. every time I have brought concerns to his attention the only response I got from him was him not wanting to spend a lot of money on his vehicle and want to keep things as cheap as possible but yet I paid thousands of dollars for the time I had his vehicle and I practically paid for the vehicle. His reasons for not refunding me my money for the rebooking was because he claimed turo never paid him and I find that hard to believe because any person in their right State of Mind will not leave a vehicle listed for rent without getting paid for the time frame I was in the vehicle. I tried working with him and tried helping him out although I was highly inconvenienced and for him to come after me asking for reimbursement is just bogus and messed up when I received the vehicle in the condition it was in. I don't like to give negative reviews and I've never had to give a negative reviews in all the years I have been a member of turo but this situation is really messed up.
