I recently bought the 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid for a long road trip from California to New York (and back). In the course of 10,000 miles this car has seen the Grand Canyon, Mammoth Cave in Kentucky, and Yellowstone National Park among other sights.
I am currently out of the country and have left the car in the care of my friend Jose, who has agreed to help me with renting out the car. Jose can drop off (and pick-up) the car anywhere along the Orange Line Metro Bus (including downtown LA) if that makes things more convenient.
Some notes about the car: fuel efficient (averaging around 45 mpg), good handling, comes with Garmin GPS (I bought separately), as well as clean and tidy.
Also note that there is no rear view camera or reversing sensor, so if you're not comfortable backing up a car without those functions, you might want to look elsewhere (this happened to me once, I backed into a pole, thus the second photo). Other than that the car is in very new condition.
Minimum rental period is 3 days, maximum is 3 months.
It's a nice car, so I ask that you take good care of her!
