Its a reliable clean car. The car still has military stickers on it, which may bring you some luck on the road. I prefer not to rent for anything shorter than 3 days. Additional miles are $0.75 per mile.
6/29/2015 - the rear control arms can be squeeky depending on the weather. I got 2 quotes on it and both shops said it was fine mechanically, but to fix the squeeks (replace the parts) would be $800+.
City 21mpg, Hwy 28mpg
Please take photos of the dash (gas/mileage), and exterior (all sides) of the car. That way you have a record of it. You are responsible to refill the gas that you use - if not, you will be charged for it.
When using Turo to rent a car, and you are very close to the time/day that you need the car, my advice would be to reserve 3-4 cars for the time you need it. That way, when the time comes, you have at least 1 or more reliable options. And just decline the others. FYI - Until you actually 'book' a car, someone else may rent the same car before you book it.
The way Turo works is: you request to rent a car, then the person approves you to rent their car, then you 'book it' (which is the actual commitment to rent the car), then I send you the address of where to pick the vehicle up.
