Dru was very sweet. She picked us up from the airport in the evening when our flight was delayed and brought us back in the morning when we left. She showed us how everything worked in the car and even gave restaurant recommendations in the area.
We were her first renters and there were a few minor inconveniences with the car, that may be fixed now. The main one was a dying battery. She had a portable battery that we could use to jump the car, but we had to do it every time we started the car over 5 days. She thought it just needed to be driven a while and would be fine, but in reality her battery had gone bad.
The passenger visor was broken and hung down in front of the passengers face blocking his view out the window. You can turn it to the side window but it was pretty annoying for him. A little Velcro or something would probably fix it. Oh, and the mirror in the visor was broken--no big deal.
We also had to add air to the tires when we got the car because the low pressure light was on.
These minor issues are probably fixed now and the car runs fine otherwise but this is what we experienced as the first renters.
One final note: we absentmindedly filled the tank before returning the car when it was about 1/4 full when we picked it up. She said she didn't have any money to reimburse me, which may be true, but it was an unfortunate end to the rental, considering the other inconveniences with the car. Yes, it was my own fault but it left me with a meh feeling experience.
