If my Neon shows up as unavailable, please check out my other cars on Turo:
2006 Scion xB:
2010 Hyundai Accent:
This Dodge Neon with an Automatic transmission is pretty frugal on gas. It easily gets 25mpg in general driving and 30mpg on a highway and takes Regular gas. Car is fun to drive and is comfortable even for taller or bigger people. Transmission shifts smoothly. Rear seats can be folded down either together or separately at 60/40 split. Air conditioner and heater are working great. A/C blows super cold air, heater heats up within minutes. Keyless entry and power windows and doors.
This car is very popular on Turo and I like to drive it myself on highways, so the odometer mileage on this Neon will soon reach 155,000 miles. It may seem high, but the car is in top mechanical condition. Transmission shifts smoothly. Engine runs smoothly and is good on power. Steering is precise without any "play" in it. Tires are very recent and currently have about 70% tread on them. Brake pads, rotors and shoes have recently been replaced and the car stops quickly. Car has brand new headlights and new custom Maxxim alloy wheels. I maintain my cars on a pre-set schedule and all the maintenance is done properly on this car.
I've added a Bluetooth add-on to the radio for hands-free calling and listening to music from your phone or tablet. I have installed a Magellan GPS, which is always updated to the latest maps has live traffic data via its own FM receiver. There's a cell phone mount, a power socket splitter and a dual USB charger. Charging cables are provided for iPhones and micro-USB (Android or Windows phones).
The age of the car shows a little bit through minor vibration during idling and at stoplights, but you can simply add some volume on an aftermarket radio that supports USB thumbdrives and music from SD cards. Radio doesn't play CDs though, just AM/FM, your mp3 files or AUX input from your smartphone or iPod. AUX cable is provided with the car or use can stream music via Bluetooth. All speakers were also upgraded and they sound great! I do provide regular maintenance at no cost to renter: regular oil and filter changes; air filter is changed when dirty. Transmission is flushed every 20k miles. Tires are in decent shape right now and I will replace them as they will wear out. I'll deliver the car to ATL airport or to your location within Atlanta metro for additional $60 per trip ($30 for delivery and $30 for pickup). If you don't want to pay for delivery, my car is near a bus line for bus 140. Just take a Red line Marta train from ATL airport to North Springs station and then switch to bus 140 "North Point/Mansell P/R" and ride it to Encore Parkway bus stop, which is near North Point Mall in Alpharetta.
I have uploaded many pictures of my car to Turo. Please feel free to scroll through all of them by clicking on the side arrows to take a look at the exterior and interior of the car.
I'm not interested in road trip rentals or short term rentals less than 5 days. I'm mostly interested in local long term rentals of one month or longer and my "Miles included" number is higher than many other cars here. This means less risk for you having to pay for excess mileage on your rental. I have set my rates very low to provide an affordable rental for somebody who needs an everyday commute car, but doesn't want the hassle of car maintenance or repair. Rest assured that either I or my wife will meet you in person for both delivery and pickup to transfer the car keys and sign the paperwork. You will enjoy my reliable car and my quick responses to any of your questions or concerns. I can provide a bike rack if you need one.
