Description

This car looks brand new and drives great. I maintain all needed service on it and make sure that it is always topped full of fluids and gas. This car is a wonderful SUV with plenty of room for 5 people. There is also plenty of storage space in the trunk.

You can pick up the car in front of 134 N Poplar Street, W-S, NC 27101. You can also drop it off there. You can park anywhere on Poplar street, (near the above address between 1st and 2nd street) without worrying about the car getting ticketed. Just text me and I will give you all the details needed for securing the car.

Lignes directrices

Please DO NOT SMOKE in the car. And, please fill this car's gas tank with Premium gas, or the highest grade. Also, before returning it, please wash it and clean it, inside and out, unless you prepaid for cleaning. This will help me tremendously with multiple rental bookings. Thank you

  • How flexible am I on going over the allotted miles?

    I am really not that flexible here. One or two miles over is not a problem, but anything over on consistent basis significantly adds wear and tear to the car.

  • What kind of gas does the car take?

    Please fill up the car with the highest grade possible.

  • Is smoking allowed in the car?

    Absolutely not. It is so difficult to get the smell out once someone does.

  • Are pets OK in the car?

    They are OK, as long as they are well-behaved and you clean up completely any hair and any other mess they may make.

I wanted to wait to meet the guy in person before I gave this review. He seem to be a pleasant guy however my rating reflects my experience. Many of my issues were self imposed however I felt like he could have been more empathetic and had better customer service and communications to deal with them. I used John’s car for a birthday trip and upon returning the Vechicle I left my wallet and house keys in the car. He did message me and tell me about it but I immediately told him I was returning for it and if he could leave it out side. I was driven miles back to his house only for him to never respond to my messages or leave my key and wallet out for me. Seems like he had no intention of returning it to me that night because he spoke about meeting up tomorrow. Only problem was after my long exhausting trip I was now locked out my house in the middled of the night. I sent him multiple messages trying to explain this to no avail. Granted I understood it was late at night after 10 but he was awake when he told me about the key and wallet. This was my first experience using Turo and it was not the most positive. As a business person myself I try to help people with what ever problem they have with the service I’m providing. And perhaps he is right from his perspective but from mine I would have made the little extra effort for my customer to get those keys and communicate better to solve help solve that issue. I’m sure others may have a different experience but if there is ever an issue his response time is not the greatest.

I understand what you are saying, but honestly I really was in bed and could not respond. It was late at night too, and I figured I it was not a big issue for since it was hours before you dropped the car off, and you did notcontact me about your keys. It was me that contacted you. And, I actually did wait a few minutes for you to respond back...to no avail...before I went to bed. Nevertheless, the issue got resolved. Sorry you had a bad experience.
