Thanks for accommodating the last minute trip. Car was clean and great for eight people.

Car was clean and functioned perfectly. I would recommend his car, but please be aware of time if you're planning on booking with him. He is very by the books and lacks empathy. The one thing that really disappointed me was the extra fees he added because we returned the car 2-3 hours late (around 9pm-10pm). We were very respectful towards him and his car; dropped it off in the same condition we received it in and with a full tank. We kindly emailed him letting him know that we dropped it off, sincerely apologized for returning it late, and explained that we lost track of time because we were held up at a family dinner. But to our surprise, we ended up with a $182.50 additional usage fee and a $20 late fee. Our total trip cost was $347.50 and it turned into a whopping total of $550 (for just 2 days and we didn't even drive 300 miles) - I understand the $20 late fee, but the $182.50 additional usage fee for being 2-3 hour late was outright unnecessary and unreasonable. We rented a car with another host and they had an extremely nice demeanor, were super accommodating, and very understanding - please do yourselves all a favor and find an empathetic host if you want to mitigate your risks of being charged insane extra costs.

I want to thank you for the review and returning the car as you received it. No message was received from the guest via email/turo messaging/text message. 1 hour after the car was supposed to be returned I sent a message to see if the guest wanted to extend with no response. Hitesh was very responsive to any questions I had and even had no issue with a time change, due to a mistake on my part. He arrived to pick us up at the airport and the vehicle was spotless. He provided two iPhone car chargers and the vehicle performed great for our five day rental. I would definitely rent from Hitesh again and you should too.

What a TERRIBLE first experience with Turo. My first time using this site for a rental. I took my family on a trip to Disneyland and traveled down the Pacific Coast Highway. The initial experience with the owner was great - he handed me the keys and we were on our way. He failed to mention there were SO MANY hidden fees associated with the rental! First, I was charged $1,310.52. What the owner failed to mention is that the vehicle needed to be SPOTLESS when being returned. Who returns a vehicle to a rental company squeaky clean? Do you take it to the wash and vaccume / wipe it down before delivering it back to the rental company? Generally, when you drop off your rental vehicle, there is a level of cleanliness to the vehicle. We cleaned as much as we could with only minimal (topical) cleaning required (i.e. Vacuum and wipe down of the seats, etc). He charged me an extra $150 for cleaning fees, as well as a $20 late fee (which wasn't mentioned when renting the vehicle). Not to mention another $265.30 (Additional Usage fee - whatever that means). Well, my $1310.52 turned into an $1,803.52 rental... how rediculous is this! I'm very disappointed and will not recommend Turo to anyone else. BEWARE OF ALL THE HIDDEN FEES PEOPLE!

Hi Vijay thank you for your feedback. I want to note that the fees are set by Turo. The vehicle was returned three hours late with no message from the guest. Photos of the condition of the car were submitted to Turo and determined with assistance of the Turo representative.
