Our "home" location is the extra lot at the Aloft and Hyatt hotels directly across from RNO. Walkable with minimal luggage, rideshare cost after tip is comparable to parking fees. Airport delivery available, please select it in the app during or after booking.

There are some specific rules to follow for my listings, but the most important is the general one- just be kind to my car please, it's mine and I love it. It's not just a line item on a spreadsheet in some corporate office. This is the car our family uses for our vacations and road trips. 1. No smoking, vaping, or anything else that the next Guest will be able to smell please. This is guaranteed to be a problem for all of us, just don't do it. Odor removal is difficult and expensive, so a fee of $150 applies. No exceptions. Do not interpret this as granting you permission to smoke in exchange for the fee. 2. You, the person booking the trip, must be physically present at both pick up and drop off, no exceptions. This is a non-negotiable rule enforced by Turo, not me, so I can't grant you permission otherwise. Please ensure that anyone else you would like to drive the vehicle is approved by Turo and added to the trip- there are no fees for that. 3. Only you, or other Guests who join Turo and are added to the trip by you, can drive the vehicle, ever. This is also Turo's strict policy, and anyone who is approved by Turo is approved by me automatically. Please do not permit use of the vehicle in any way without at least one authorized driver present. 4. Pets are permitted, but MUST be crated/kennelled or in a soft carrier at ALL times. No pet may be loose in the vehicle, or you will be responsible for the cost of a complete interior detail. Future guests may have allergies, and I wish to protect them. I won't deny you the trip for having a pet with you, but please notify me before the start of your trip if you plan to bring one. 5. You're responsible for any costs incurred by your use of the vehicle, such as parking tickets or tolls, so please let me know up front and I won't hold it against your review or rating. 6. All of those rules are basically just shaking my finger at you, so here's some better news. I really hope to help you have a fantastic trip to our lovely bit of the world. As such, I'll do what I can to help you out as long as you communicate with me. If whatever you need help with doesn't hurt the next Guest's trip experience, then I'm not going to try to be punitive if I don't have to be.

• Do I have to wash it? Is there a prepaid cleaning option?

  An exterior wash is not required at dropoff. However, you can use the nearest wash to the airport for free on our monthly subscription, and if you wash it you have the advantage of seeing any minor scrapes or dings that popped up before the end of your trip, so no surprises. The vacuums are also useful. Turo has eliminated the prepaid cleaning option as it created a grey area. For our vehicle, as long as you treat the vehicle respectfully, don't leave food residue or drink spills behind, and keep the floors and upholstery dry we're good. When you pick it up it will be clean, dry, and won't have any mystery materials on the seats or other areas.

• How does gas work? Do I have to fill it up? Does it need premium gas?

  The tank will always be topped off when you pick it up. Yes, you'll need to return it topped off, but it only needs regular gas. You can also drop it off without filling it up and we will take care of it for you for cost of fuel plus a $10 fee. We will fill it up just south of the airport after washing it.

• This is the bigger Expedition right?

  Yes! Has a fair bit of space even with the third row up.

• Will I need snow chains in the winter?

  No. It has all wheel drive and in snow season I will equip it with true winter tires. You'll be able to get around as long as NDOT and CalTrans don't close the road entirely. If you are heading to Mammoth mountain during winter, I will supply chains to carry on request, but it i strongly recommended to have them professionally installed if you use them.

• Can I take it to Burning Man?

  No. It's black car with a black interior. No. Please don't do that.

• What do I do if/when the airline changes my arrival or departure times?

  When that happens, please put in a Trip Change request. I will always approve it as long as you're not encroaching on the next or previous Guest's trip times. Generally, you should schedule your pickup time for about half an hour after arrival and dropoff 1-2 hours before departure.
