Having said all that, please read the following information carefully before you book: PICK-UP, DROP-OFF, and DELIVERY If you'll be picking up at our house, and you're cool with public transportation like we are, you can use this online tool (https://trimet.org/home/planner) to get here for $2.80/person. Just tap your credit card or debit card on the reader as you enter the platform for the MAX light rail, or as you get on the bus. If you begin and end your trip at the airport, Turo may charge you airport use fees that I have no control over. Some guests have said that that fee can be as much as 9-10% of the trip cost. If you want to avoid those fees, as well as the $4/hr airport parking fee, set your trip to begin and end at 1249 NE 99th Ave, Portland, OR 97220. That’s the Gateway Transit Center (GTC). You can take the only MAX light-rail that services the airport (the red line) from right outside baggage claim to the GTC for $2.80/person (GTC is the 4th stop and the ride takes 17 min). Just tap your credit card or debit card on the reader as you enter the platform for the MAX light rail. Regardless of where you decide to pick-up and drop-off the car, if you’re flying into Portland, please message me your airline and flight info for both your arriving and departing flights, and update me with any changes, just in case either is early (or late). Suggested pick-up times after your plane lands: Airport garage, 30 min Uber, Lyft, or taxi to GTC, 45 min MAX light-rail to GTC, 60 min Uber, Lyft, or taxi to our house, 60 min MAX light-rail to our house, 75 min Suggested drop-off times before your plane takes off: Airport garage, 1 hr 45 min GTC with Uber, Lyft, or taxi to airport, 2 hrs GTC with MAX light-rail to airport, 2 hrs 15 min Our house with Uber, Lyft, or taxi to airport, 2 hrs 15 min Our house with MAX light-rail to airport, 2 hrs 30 min That being said, I’m happy to drop-off and pick-up cars at the airport (just be aware of the use fee that Turo may charge you, and the $4/hr parking fee), Union Train Station ($5/hr parking fee), or just about anywhere within 5 miles of our house, for $50 (or for FREE if your reservation is for 7 days or longer). If the location we agree on charges a parking fee then you'll pay that fee when you pick-up, and I'll pay that fee when you drop-off. FREE CAR WASHES You're not obligated to wash the vehicle before you return it, but please return it in the same condition you picked it up in. To help you keep it looking as fresh and clean throughout your trip as it will be when you pick it up, all my cars come with unlimited complimentary carwashes and vacuums at any Washman. When an employee scans the sticker on the windshield, ask them for the vacuum code. If the scan is automated, you won’t need to ask - you’ll automatically enter the vacuum area after the wash. And, just in case I missed any spots, or if you need them during your trip, there should be ArmorAll wipes and glass wipes in the car for you. YADA YADA I do my best to have antibacterial wipes, a USB charger, and a universal charging cord in every vehicle, and possibly a cellphone holder - but don’t rely on that as those items sometimes disappear. I should also have a Turo incident card, registration, and insurance info in every car. If those things are missing, I can message you pics of them through the Turo app. I also have trackers in all my vehicles. As per TURO's policy, there should be NO SMOKING (of any kind), vaping, or using e-cigs in this vehicle. Violators may be fined $150 and banned from TURO. No pets, either, sorry.
