  Tesla Superchargers are extremely powerful, 480-volt chargers that can charge a Tesla in under an hour, making them perfect for charging up on long-distance road trips. A Supercharger can add between 142 and 175 miles of range to your battery in just 15 minutes, depending on which model you have. Destination Chargers are installed by businesses and land owners for public use, but have a slower charging speed than Superchargers. A Destination Charger will add between 30 and 44 miles of range per hour of charging, depending on the Tesla model.

• How much should the battery be charged to when I return the vehicle?

  If you have purchased EV Recharge extra we need at least 30 miles left of the vehicle If you opted NOT to purchase the EV recharge extra between 75% and 80%

• Can I use my smartphone to control the car via the Tesla app?

  Not currently

• How do I start/turn off the car?

  To start -> Press the brake pedal with your foot and tap the key card behind the cupholders in the middle console. To Turn off -> Place the vehicle in park, exit and lock the vehicle.

• How do I use Traffic-Aware Cruise Control?

  To engage Traffic-Aware Cruise Control when it is available, move the drive stalk down once, then release the accelerator pedal to allow Traffic-Aware Cruise Control to maintain the cruising speed. YOU MUST STAY FULLY AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS

• How do I adjust my steering wheel?

  1) Touch Controls on the vehicle’s touchscreen 2) Navigate Controls > Quick Controls > Adjustments > Steering Wheel 3) Use the left scroll button on the wheel to adjust the wheel’s position to your desired outcome 4) To adjust the height and tilt of the wheel, roll the left button up or down 5) To move the wheel closer or further, press the left scroll button to the left or right

• How do I switch gears? (D, R, N, P)

  The right lever on the steering column. Drive -> Click down and release Neutral -> Half-Click up or down and release Reverse -> Click up and release Park -> Press the silver button on the end in toward the steering column

• How do I open the 'Frunk' and rear trunk?

  Both can be opened from the touchscreen. Rear seats can be manually collapsed for more room. The rear trunk can also be opened in a similar fashion as most modern cars with a soft handle above the license plate ***PLEASE CLOSE THE FRUNK COMPLETELY - lay the hood down and place your palm on either side of the Tesla logo - push down and it will latch.**** Do NOT press down on the logo

• How do I connect/pair my phone to Bluetooth?

  1) Ensure both the touchscreen and the phone are powered on. 2) On the touchscreen’s status bar, tap the Bluetooth icon. 3) On your phone, enable Bluetooth and set it to discoverable. 4) On the car touchscreen, touch Start Search. The touchscreen searches then displays the list of all available Bluetooth devices within operating distance. 5) On the car touchscreen, touch the phone with which you want to pair. Within a few seconds, the touchscreen displays a randomly generated number and your phone should display the same number. 6) Check that the number displayed on your phone matches the number displayed on the touchscreen. Then, on your phone, confirm that you want to pair.

• How do I open the charging port?

  When the vehicle is unlocked, tap the lightning bolt on the touch screen and it'll open.

• How do I use Autosteer?

  In Model Y, after you've put the vehicle in cruise control -> pull down once on the gear selector stalk on the right of the steering column.

• How do I adjust my side view exterior mirrors?

  1) Navigate to the vehicle’s touchscreen 2) Touch Controls > Quick Controls > Mirrors 3) Select either Left or Right on the touchscreen 4) Use the steering wheel’s left button to adjust mirrors 5) To change which mirror you’re adjusting, simply press the left button on the wheel

• Can I charge the car at a destination charger?

  Yes, there is a charging adapter in the trunk in the lower compartment. Guest agrees to pay $120 to replace lost or damaged charging adapter. Destination chargers are located all over the city (EVgo and ChargePoint have the biggest networks outside of Tesla) Some chargers are free and some require you to pay per use. Do NOT run the car below 10% battery level. You must keep the battery charged between 15% and 80% at all times

• What does the light next to the charger mean?

  WHITE: The charge port door is open. Model Y is ready to charge and the connector is not inserted, or the charge port latch is unlocked and the connector is ready to be removed. BLUE: Model Y detects that a connector has been plugged in. BLINKING BLUE: Model Y is communicating with the connector. Either Model Y is preparing to charge, or a charging session is scheduled to begin at a specified future time. BLINKING GREEN: Charging is in progress. As Model Y approaches a full charge, the frequency of the blinking slows. SOLID GREEN: Charging is complete. SOLID AMBER: The connector is not fully plugged in. Realign the connector to the charge port and insert fully. BLINKING AMBER: Model Y is charging at a reduced current (AC charging only). RED: A fault is detected and charging has stopped. Check the touchscreen for a fault message.

• How do I adjust the driver and passenger seat?

  There are physical controls on the left hand side of the driver's seat. The account on the screen should be set to Turo - Feel free to save your seat settings under this account

• How do I lock/unlock the car with the key card?

  To use a key card to unlock or lock Model Y, position the card as shown and tap it against the card reader located just below the Autopilot camera on the driver's side door pillar.

• How do I use the Keep Colorado Wild pass?

  Simply show your vehicle registration card that includes the Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) logo to Colorado Parks and Wildlife staff when asked. If the entrance is not staffed, you may enter the park with the knowledge that you may be checked for proof of purchase at any time.
