Pickup and car was fine. But dropoff was a mess, with poor communication. When I called to hand off the keys, there was no answer. So as not to miss checkout time, I left the keys in the car, locked it, and left host a message on Turo explaining. Later, he called to ask where the keys were, and that I should have called — but I did? I offered to call a locksmith to come get the keys. But several follow-up calls and texts again went unanswered. Locksmith came, didn’t see anyone, so they left. Couple hours later, host finally texted to say he’d already taken care of it. Big waste of time.
