While the car was fine for our trip, I was disappointed in the check out process. The car was returned clean, but when doing the check out process with the host, there was a bit of sand on a doorwell. They asked if I had vacuumed and I said no, I didn’t know I needed to. She said yes, and that she sent me a message and told me I could go take it somewhere to vacuum. I left to go do that but there was nowhere at 6:15 am for me to go. I asked what a cleaning fee would be and they said $20, which I said was fine. When I returned the car, I felt rushed with the picture taking because they had to go to work so I don’t feel like I got to take aa through of pictures. I looked at the message and it just said I had to bring the car back clean, which I did, just a little sand on the doorwell, which I brushed off. I looked at the Turo rules and it said that I am not expected to vacuum unless it’s major (like we went to beach or something). Overall, I don’t think I would use a service like Turo again if I’m expected to vacuum out a car, especially since we didn’t go to a beach or anything and so it would have just been whatever was on our feet. Millie was a fine host just a bit confusing at the end of what I was supposed to do.
