We provide delivery to Denver International Airport for those who need it and very detailed instructions for the pick up and return of the car to make it as convenient as possible. Host seemed like a nice guy and would have given a 5 star if it wasn't for a few factors.
The car smelled like garbage, but there was no trash in the car that we could easily find.
The car was parked in the wrong location, making pick up take an extra 20 minutes.
The washer fluid was out. He offered to zelle me if I bought some and filled it up, but I'm not his mechanic or mule. An expectation of a fully functioning car is attached to the price tag.
Most annoyingly, he expected us to take the car to a car wash and then towel dry it and vacuum the inside out. This is my vacation, and Turo states that this is against their policy. Had to factor extra time before our flight to get all of this done, adding an extra hour to our early morning wake-up.
Other than that, the car ran well and looked as expected from the ad.

Sorry our services did not meet your fullest expectations, as that is always our goal. In regards to cleaning, while not required, as that is against Turo policy, similarly to private rentals through VRBO or Air BNB when one stays in someone’s home, we do ask our cars come back in a similar condition in which they were picked up. We provide cost free carwashes to keep cars clean throughout the trip and appreciate the car coming back in good condition, which you did and is greatly appreciated.

The car was good, but when we arrived the exterior was super dirty. The check in/out instructions were a lot to handle. The host also changed the drop off location to another location one day prior to our departure.

Thanks for the feedback, Donna. Unfortunately we had a storm the day you picked up the car so it was dirty from the the drive to parking facility. We also changed parking facilities to better service our customers and make the pick up and drop off process even more simple. Your trip was three days long so it was tough to let you know of the change with more than one day advanced notice. We apologize that the trip did not meet all of your expectations and will continue to better the experience.

I will never rent from the major car rental companies again! Chris was fabulous and his vehicle was in perfect condition. I felt very confident driving his Mazda CX 30 through the mountains and through unfamiliar terrain and territory. A fun car and experience completely. He was super helpful with being the first time that I used turo. Would definitely seek him out again and highly recommended him for any future trips! Thank you!
