The ioniq 5 has been a very sought after car in the EV market and with good reason! Rated #1 Electric car since it’s début in 2022 by multiple car review companies. With a capability of fast charging 10-80% in 18 minute of a 350kw charger this makes stops on long trips quick enough for a bathroom break. With a little heads up I can help plan your charging stops if needed. With a great range of 490km and loads of fantastic safety features you will be sure to enjoy it. Because of the way it’s designed don’t let the outside fool you, the interior has a crazy amount of room for everyone and everything. Sleek with just a few buttons and a nice dual screen display. One amazing feature that I love is the V2L system. The Ioniq 5 has the ability to draw power from its large battery to power anything that can plug into its 120v adapter. Such a fantastic thing when camping. Upon drop off I just ask that the car is at 50% or higher.

FAQ
What do I use to find chargers?
There is an inboard navigation system that will guide you to the nearest one. I recommend using the app PlugShare as this will allow you to figure out the brand before arriving and ensure you have the application downloaded for payment and access.
How do I charge the car?
On the rear passenger side there is a panel close to the light. Press down on the dots and it will open revealing the charge port. The uncovered portion is for lvl 1 and lvl 2. Pull out the bottom port and this will reveal the second section needed to use the lvl 3 (fast or ultra chargers)
What happens if I have a flat tire?
As EVs do not carry a spare tire there is an air compressor and tire fill foam canister in the frunk(hood) compartment of the car. As well you can either use Turo roadside assistance free of charge or Hyundai Roadside assistance(some charges may apply)

Anthony was a great host - his experience really made things run smoothly. As this was a strange car for me he took time to explain the differences between this and a standard ICE vehicle. The pick up was easy and the car was absolutely fantastic. Although I paid up front for the EV recharge, Anthony explained everything so well that I would have been confident doing it myself if needed. I hope to use Anthony again in the future.
