Description

Please read, : One small problem with the car to be aware of right now is that the accessory power outlets (cigarette lighters) are not working right now. I'm looking into the situation and I can loan you a battery pack large enough to charge to 2 the smartphones at a time if requested. The car has ample space for yourself and 4 other passengers and lots of legroom for a mid-size Sedan. One of the largest sedan's in it's class. It also manages to maintain 23-33 MPG, and with a 15.5 gallon tank you can take it around 450+ miles between fill ups! It's a great commuter vehicle. It is very responsive for a 4 Cylinder on the Hwy thanks to the CVT transmission and the sound in the car is great. Comes with Hands-free bluetooth calling package and an power moonroof with electronic adjustable driver seat. Very smooth ride and handles nicely. First time renting a vehicle on Turo? Use this link to get a promo code/credit for $25 off your first trip https://turo.com/c/benc314.

Lignes directrices

Absolutely no smoking allowed, this is Turo policy, and mine. if you smoke in the car, you will be assessed a fine and Turo may assess other penalties as per their policy. Dogs or cats welcome. But you are responsible for cleaning pet mess, and I highly recommend keeping them in a pet carrier as that is Turo policy. if there is a pet mess or the car smells you will be charged a pet cleaning fee. Please return the car in the same condition as you received it. Again, this is Turo's policy. This includes having it washed/vacuumed if it came that way when you got it and you got it dirty.

FAQ

  • Are you flexible with extra mileage?

    Yes

  • How do I unlock the car?

The keyfob is a proximity key. So you just simply walk up to the door and push the button the handle with the key near the door (in your pocket/purse/whatever) or you can use the traditional method of pushing the unlock button on the fob.

  • How do I start the car?

It's a push to start ignition and keyless. So, make sure that you have the proximity key inside the car with you and then you push the "start" button to the right of the steering wheel to start.

  • What kind of fuel should I use?

I recommend using only Shell, Chevron, or Texaco gas - 89 minimum for the car to run smoothly and get proper fuel efficiency. Fuel door and button is on the driver side.

  • Can I take the car on toll roads in California?

There is no Fastrack transponder on the car. So, short answer is no, unless you want a huge ticket. You can take a few of the toll roads that say "tollroads.com" on them like the 241 to Irvine from the 91 for example. But not the 91 hwy express lanes. The tollroads.com toll-roads will allow you to login to the website and make a one-time payment for the toll. If I am charged a fee for toll-roads while you have the vehicle you will be charged from Turo. Note: some toll violations without a transponder are $100 or more.

  • Why is there a battery charger in the trunk?

Because this model of Nissan is notorious for having issues with rapid battery drain when you are sitting inside the car with the keys in the car and the auto headlights enabled, especially if you leave it sitting in accessory mode for more than a few minutes. There is nothing wrong with the battery, it was recently replaced. To prevent this problem for occurring I recommend that you don't leave the car parked with you and the keys in it and the car in 'on' mode, especially with the headlights set on auto. You need to start it and leave it running, or shut off the lights/radio/fans when the engine is not running.

  • What if I use the toll roads?

If you anticipate doing this you need to speak with me first. There are only a few select toll roads that you can take this car on. If I am charged a toll fine in my car during the rental period, Turo will ask you to reimburse the fees and a toll fine can cost between $40 and $100.

  • Should i wash the car before bringing it back?

Turos policy states that you bring the car back in the same condition that it left in or you could be charged a cleaning fee.

Ben was very flexible and in communication well before and during the trip leaving no questions or concerns unanswered. Used the car to get around Southern California while visiting, no issues whatsoever. This was my first time using Turo, and will definitely be my go-to from now on.
