Super charging stations are NOT free. They will bill my Tesla account and that bill will be forwarded to you through turo. Helps a ton on those muddy hikes. I also leave a few microfiber towels and a spray bottle in the car for any messes. As for charging stations in the area, please download the app PLUGSHARE. It will show you all the available charging stations on the island. And it will go as far as showing you which are operational, which are free, and a picture of what they look like. It will also show a picture of the charging station as well. Download the app ahead of time to see the abundance of charging stations in your area. Most hotels have chargers right in their parking garage. Public spots with charging ports include Target, Walmart, international market in Waikiki.
How does pick up and delivery work.
Pick up and delivery work based upon the option you choose when booking. It can be changed after you rent the vehicle. The fees depend on the location option you choose. Choosing to pick the vehicle up at the host location has no fees. What you cannot do is choose to pick up at the host location and then message me to deliver it to your hotel, without choosing the hotel delivery option.

Two issues you should know:
1) Something is up with the battery. It drained up to 5x more than estimated. I once drove 7 miles and it went from 63 miles remaining to 9 remaining! I had A/C on, sure, but was driving safe with a toddler in the backseat. No way it should drain at such an accelerated pace. A warning constantly came up that the battery had to be serviced. That must have had something to do with it.
2) Before my trip even started, 6 days before it was completed, I changed the ending location and added one hour, and I paid a small fee to do it. The owner confirmed the same day. Yet they went to the original location and time by mistake. That’s ok, it happens, but what was frustrating is they blamed me for the mix up! Some copy-and-pastes of their texts: “I have to sit outside the airport for an hour and a half?”, “This severely cuts into my plans.”, “Now I have to go all the way to a hotel in Waikiki by bus?”, “Why was the drop off at the airport instead of the hotel?” This is after proving to them that the error was on them, not me. I ended up going out of my way to a new location and new time to accommodate them. I waited for almost an hour for a $60 Uber with my wife and toddler outside a random mall in 90 degree heat, all because of their mistake. Fortunately Turo was appalled and refunded half my fee and gave me a credit, but this kind of “service” should be pointed out for future renters.

Good car, however, the service was not meeting the standards. The owner of the car works with a middleman, which makes it more complicated to get things done, but this is not a surprise as this was mentioned when renting the car. However, I would recommend you to think wisely about it, as it is really not ideal (I wouldn't do it again). My main concerns are the following; First, the car delivery was late (almost 30min). Second, an almost empty car was delivered (25%). Consequently, we raised the issue and they told us you can charge on our cost. At first sight, this seems to be a nice gesture. However, there is only 1 station with 6 superchargers on the island. We had to queue for several hours before we could charge the car. In total, we lost more than 4 hours with the delivery of the car (which is significant if you only rent it for 1,5 days), queuing and charging the car. When bringing this forward to the owner, this was completely ignored and he brought up that Turo takes a large part of the profit. Luckily, Turo came up with a solution. Finally, also when returning the car, the middleman was late (however he promised to me 15mins earlier, and we clearly communicated a moment and timeslot to bring the car back). In general, a great driving car but with a very low customer service. In my opinion, the owner doesn't know how to do business if you cannot give a customer experience and claims that you don't earn a lot by it.

Great Service, super friendly and helpful. Great, comfortable car, easy to drive. Definitely worth checking out to experience a Tesla, works great around the Island as long as you plan your trip in advance and keep mileage and charging in mind.
