As other reviewers have stated, I received the car dirty, less than fully charged, and apparently the hosts had no idea where the car was actually located. I only rented the car for 9 hours to take my daughter to Legoland. We arrived to TPA at 11am and departed at 8:30pm. Just a day trip. Because it was a day trip, I was tight for time and needed this process to run as smoothly as possible as to not interfere with my trip. My experience was far from smooth. The car was not located where the pickup directions indicated. After following those instructions, I was informed that the car was parked on the ground floor of short term. On my way there, I was informed by another host that the car was in economy parking. I’m sure happy that I didn’t follow those instructions or I would have wasted MORE than an hour of my very short trip looking for the car. The car was not on the ground floor. It was actually on the second. I had to lug a five year old anxious to go straight to Legoland through an airport and a parking garage for an hour looking for the car. That essentially took an hour out of our very short time at Legoland. Insult #1 When I called a second time for directions to the car, I was asked to drop the car off at a random location 20 minutes from the airport. When I asked how my 5 year old and I were supposed to get back to the airport, I was told to uber. Uber after paying $287 for less than a day! No concern for my safety or the safety of my child. Their concern was getting me to place the car in a more convenient location for their next rental. How do ask a woman traveling with a small child to drop off a car in an unsecured location at night in a strange city. No cares. I am not an employee. I am a customer whose contract indicates pick up and drop off at Tampa Airport. I declined. CHARGE The car was not fully charged. It wasn’t charged enough to drive the 250 miles that were included in the rental. A major inconvenience when you have a tight itinerary. Greg suggested that I go to a supercharger. I may have had time to do that if I hadn’t blown an hour of my day looking for the car. I wasn’t able to make it back to the airport on the initial charge. I had to stop to charge which nearly caused me to miss my return flight. CLEANLINESS The exterior of the car was acceptable. Not excessively dirty. The inside however was filthy. There was debris and something spilled in the floor area of the back seat. My daughter had to sit in that mess. When I exited the parking garage and the sun hit the console, it was abundantly clear that the console had not been cleaned for some time. The smudges and fingerprints made me sick. We are in the midst of a pandemic and they would give me a car that hadn’t been cleaned between guest. COVID Alert! HIDDEN EXPENSES It was not disclosed that I would have to pay to get the car out of short term parking. I had to pay $20 just to begin driving and get on with my trip. While $20 isn’t a significant amount of money, it was not disclosed, discussed, nor agreed to at any point in time. Insult #2 When I expressed that the car was dirty, Gregory had the audacity to ask me to clean it!! I’m not an employee. I am a customer. He said he would reimburse me for the cleaning cost. How about reimbursing me for receiving a dirty car? That would have been a better customer service move. However, this team is not concerned with customer service. They’re chief objective is to get their customers to run their business for them. After all of this, Gregory charged me $50 for returning the car undercharged. While it’s true and he is well within his right charge me, it wasn’t the right thing to do. The disorganization within his business made it next to impossible for me to return the car charged given my time constraints, which he was well aware of. I will pay the charge but I caution anyone else from renting with Gregory.

I was really excited to drive a Tesla for the first time, and this did not disappoint. Overall, it was a great experience and communication with Gregory and Sara was pretty seamless. The car, overall, was kept up with a couple of minor issues: it wasn’t charged which meant that I had to go charge it, and the floor mats were pretty dirty/sandy: given the rental, I would’ve thought it would be cleaner. But since it was the floor mats, I didn’t mind it too much. Because my schedule allowed for it, I had no issue with having to charge it myself, especially since Sara credited that charge time back to me! There was a Tesla supercharger nearby so as long as there’s enough juice of 25-40 miles, you have more than enough to make it there and charge the vehicle: the Tesla supercharger can fully charge the vehicle in between 35 to 60 minutes, depending on how much juice is left. If you try to charge it with A1’s charger, it will take forever. It’s actually best practice to at least leave 125 miles in the vehicle so the next person can enjoy it without having to build an extra half hour to an hour to charge the car. As the saying goes, be kind, rewind! If you haven’t rode a Tesla before, I recommend skimming through the owner’s manual: there’s a bit of learning curve, especially if you’ve never driven a fully electric car before. But it’s all honestly a little intuitive once you get the hang of it. Also not all chargers are made equal: there’s an adapter in the car that you’ll need that will allow you to use non-Tesla chargers. I also recommend you download the Tesla app as well: it’ll make the car experience that much better!!! So sorry if this was TL;DR I can’t recommend Gregory and his team enough for Tesla experience I had. For the price point, I would do it again and again!
