Overall, we had a great trip. The check in was really easy, and so convenient with the car at the airport. Chris was really helpful as it was our first time using Turo, and he walked us through a lot. The car was perfect- exactly as advertised. Our only issue was that while the car was parked, someone backed into it. I was able to get their insurance info and the security guard in the lot took everyone's statements. Very little damage was done, and Chris was very helpful when I called him to report it, and said not to worry, we got all the info he needed for her insurance. Upon return, we were running late, and he allowed us to extend a few hours. He even helped us contact support to do so. The only downfall was what happened afterward, when he messaged me and said he would be sending me a bill for the repair of the scratches from the fender bender. We purchased the extra coverage from Turo, and were not at fault for the incident. When I asked if he had contacted the drivers insurance, he did not respond. It has been 9 days. This was disappointing, as he had made it out like it was no big deal at the time, even after I sent him photos of the small damage. Then after the fact, didn't seem to attempt to contact the person who was at fault, but rather expected me to pay for it out of pocket and advised me NOT to go through Turo systems to resolve, which seems questionable to me.
