Please don't take the car off road or on rough unpaved roads - if you are going to a hiking trail, check https://www.wta.org/ for reports of bad "road conditions". Deep potholes will damage the car because of low clearance. If you're unsure about a destination, feel free to ask!

• How does the adaptive cruise-control work?

  The cruise control stick is below the windshield wiper control on the right side of the steering wheel. Click the button on the stick inward (toward the steering wheel) to turn the system on - you'll see "Radar ready" on the center console. When the car is at the desired speed, push the stick down to set the cruise control speed. To stop cruise control, tap the brakes or pull the stick toward you. Radar cruise control is designed to keep you at a safe distance from the car in front, but it will not recognize stopped cars or road obstructions. Please always pay attention to the road.

• What are the tolled roads in this area? Should I avoid them?

  The main tolled roads are the 520 bridge from Seattle to Bellevue, the 99 tunnel through downtown Seattle, and the Tacoma Narrows bridge from Seattle / Tacoma to Bremerton and the Olympic Peninsula. Feel free to use these tolled roads if it saves you time. It only costs a few dollars and I will add it to your total when I get the bill.
