Great experience! The car was so fun to drive and fit our little family of 3 perfectly even with an infant car seat. Jacob was super quick to respond to all our messages. I’d definitely rent Isabelle again

This car (Isabelle) was absolutely great. I had her just shy of two weeks and frankly miss her now.
The i3 is a great size for navigating Seattle. Small enough that you can get into all kinds of parking spaces but with plenty of room to haul luggage and people. The "suicide doors" are a first for me and I must say that it works out nicely for quickly grabbing something like an umbrella in the back seat. While I'd prefer some of the higher or newer options for this vehicle, I had no issues with all that Isabelle did have.
I did commit to the electric car experience. While I had peace of mind via the onboard electric generator being ready at a moment's notice, I didn't use it. Before starting my trip, I installed and set up a few of the electric charging apps. This allowed me to charge at grocers and parking garages all over the city. DC fast charging was quite quick and affordable. Nice perk - can leave AC running while you're in somewhere.
There are various efficiency modes you can put the car into - changing driving and energy consumption characteristics. I mostly was in Eco Pro mode and had no real issues with accelerating, etc. Super quick to throw it into Comfort mode though if you want some more zippy peace of mind for merging onto the interstate for example.
My ultimate takeaway from my experience is that I'd like to own an i3 myself and that Isabelle was a great ambassador for leading me there. She's maintained quite nicely across the board.
The couple who own this car have been nothing but lovely via app and in-person communication. Their home is easily accessible for a cab and dropoff. I'd suggest reading the owner's manual beforehand, but they did offer a rundown of the vehicle during pickup. I wouldn't hesitate to rent a vehicle from them again. Excellent first experience on the platform.
