--GUIDELINES-- The following rules are intended to maintain the vehicle in its current condition. Please treat the car as your own and everything will be absolutely fine. We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed during your rental experience. **Return car in same condition as it was picked up. Clean and full tank of gas.** You are responsible for returning the vehicle in the condition it was when you took it, and you are responsible for any expenses incurred during your rental period. Please return car fueled up with gas receipts in the glove compartment. **BRIDGE TOLL/FASTRAK** The car is registered under FasTrak, so you can use toll lanes and toll bridges, which I will initially pay for, and then I will request reimbursement through Turo. If you decide to use this feature, please keep track of all the trips & tolls. PLEASE remember to text us the total for the tolls after your trip, so we can bill you thru Turo’s app. **NO SMOKING** Absolutely NO SMOKING or vaping of any kind in the vehicle. Do not smoke in or near the car. Please kindly do not bring any cigarettes, cigars, or plants of any kind inside the car. Any smell of this sort will be in violation of the policy. $50 will be charged for any bad smell found after you return the car. **NO PETS** Pets are not allowed in the car. Sorry! **NO FOOD** No food in the car please, let's try to maintain the condition of the car and avoid any spills. Cleaning charges will apply. **CLEAN CAR** We want every guest to have a great experience in a clean car. Please return the car as clean as you found it. It could cost $50 or more if the car is returned in dirty condition or if you want us to do the cleaning for you. **RE-FUELING** Only use Regular Unleaded 91 Premium Octane Fuel or higher. Please refuel before returning vehicle or will incur a $10 inconvenience charge in addition to the cost of a full tank to refuel if you did not purchase the pre-paid refuel option. **LATE RETURN & EXTENSION, TURO INSURANCE POLICY** For insurance purposes, Turo only gives 15 minutes grace period allowance for before and after the trip; therefore, modify your reservation for earlier pick up or request for an extension if returning late to protect you. Also, request for an extension if you need to add additional days to the trip as soon as possible to avoid over lap with the next renter so you can keep the car for as long as you want. You will absolutely enjoy this experience!

FAQ

  • Do I need to return with gas at the same level?

    The vehicle will be rented out with a full tank of gas. Please return it at the same level as when you picked it up. If you do not have time to refill, an inconvenience fee of $10 will be charged, in addition to the price for a full tank of gas. Alternatively, you may also chose the extra for pre-paid refuel and return with a peace of mind.

  • Do you have flexibility with pick up and drop off times?

    If you are running late, or your flight is delayed, a late pickup is usually not a problem as long as you let me know you are running behind. However, late returns are not acceptable since there may be a booking right after yours. Also, a late pick up DOES NOT mean you can return the car late. The car is due back no later than the listed Turo time. This is to protect you as insurance is covered during the rental period only. If you’re running behind, and are able to, please modify the trip through Turo to avoid late fees. If you need to extend your trip, please contact me to ensure there is no conflict.

  • Do I have to return the car clean?

    YES please, return the car as clean as it was given to you. No food, drinks, pets, smoking or vaping inside the vehicle. We will levy a cleaning fee to maintain the highest standard of experience for the next renter if you fail to adhere to our policy. If you take the car for a wash, please use ONLY Touchless and/or Hand Wash to clean the exterior.

  • What precautions are you taking during COVID-19?

    We take your health and safety very seriously. We are disinfecting the car after every trip to minimize the risk of transmission from our vehicle. Before each booking, we are disinfecting all surfaces including but not limited to the steering wheel, door handles (interior and exterior), seatbelts, seating surfaces, switches and controls. If you have any concerns about the risks of Covid-19 transmission through a rental vehicle, please contact your local healthcare professional or public health authority.

  • What do I do about bridge tolls?

    The car is registered in FasTrak so you don't have to stop at the toll booths and can go straight through. You will be charged for the tolls after the trip. Please let me know how many times you crossed the bridge.

  • Do I need to wash the car before return?

    No need to wash, but please bring the car back in the same condition. If a cleaning is needed, there will be a ($50-$250) charge depending on the severity. Alternatively, you may also chose the extra for post-trip cleaning.

  • What if something maintenance related occurs during the trip?

    Reach out to me first before performing any actions. Failure to do so could result in no reimbursement.
