Description

The 2020 Chevrolet Malibu has a relaxed and comfortable ride. This sedan seats five people and there's plenty of space in the front seats. It also has plenty of trunk space, 15.8 cubic feet, and impressive fuel economy. The EPA rates at 29 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway. Includes an easy-to-use infotainment system featuring useful smartphone integration with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control and remote start (ideal for winter season). COVID19: Please be assured that we are disinfecting the car between trips by wiping down the steering wheel, door handles, trunk latch, and any other frequently touched surfaces with disinfectant wipes before and after rentals. Contactless key hand-off via lockbox.

My experience with Figerald was amazing. Car was everything the description provided. Clean and ready to go. I definitely recommend renting with him. 5 star! You won't be disappointed. 😊

The car has pretty significant body damage due to hail. This isn’t clear in the pictures, I understand the host put it in the description. I failed to see it in the description. The car also has a pretty awful smoke smell from cigarettes. This was also “in the description”, however it is impossible to quantify a minor annoyance vs such residual smoke as to be dangerous to kids with asthma. With the lack of inventory available, this was a choice of last resort. Upon driving off the lot, there was a low tire pressure warning(tire went flat on first drive). Whether this was due to improper maintenance or not is impossible to tell. On top of this experience, working with turo support is an absolute nightmare. There are four separate departments you are required to engage with. Turo go support, the first phone support layer. They cannot do anything but route your call and you are required to interact with them to get a link to a chat portal to engage with the next layer, vehicle quality. During your text chat, make sure you have your name, email address, birthday and reservation number available. You’ll need EVERY time you interact with them. Also, they do not appear to collect notes on accounts, every interaction was starting from scratch. Vehicle Quality sends you to Roadside Assistance. These folks use swoop and also appear to not be connected to support history. We had multiple tow trucks show up (even after the car was returned due to the tire leak/flat tire). Once roadside is done with you, you get to contact claims. They won’t engage till after the car is “confirmed” returned. You just get to keep calling, it took 6 hours for them to confirm the vehicle. No expectations are set for how this support cycle works. It is duct tape and bailing wire. Turo works fine on the happy path, which is insufficient for families with kids. This one star is for both the vehicle (quality issues) AND turo (support failure). This was a relationship ending experience for this customer.
