Can I return the vehicle with less miles than it had when I picked it up?
Even though this reservation includes Unlimited Supercharging, you are still responsible for returning the vehicle with the same range it was at when you picked it up. If it is returned with less range then when picked up, “Recharging Fees” may apply. Fees may apply as follows: 0%–20% charge = $50 21%–50% charge = $20 51%–79% charge = $10 If picked up with less than 80%, please return with the same range at pick up. Recharging fees will be prorated based on the mileage at pick up.
What happens if I cause damage to the vehicle?
Detailed pictures will be taken just before check-in to document all preexisting damage. We recommend that you take as many detailed photos as possible, for your protection, in case anything happens between delivery time and pick-up time. We have a Zero Tolerance Policy when it comes to damage on our vehicles. The guest is responsible for any new damage that was caused during the reservation. Any damage can include, curb rash on wheels, bumper scrapes, door dings, rock chips from freeway/highway driving, etc.. Please see the Protection Plan Details for all information regarding coverage of any damage you may have caused. Trying to use your own insurance to cover any damage you may have caused? There are very few Insurance Providers that cover vehicles you rent through Turo. If you decide to use your own insurance, a copy of your current Policy Declaration Page that displays your deductible, will be required. You will be invoiced the deductible amount. A refund will be provided if you pay the deductible directly to your insurance provider and a check for the full estimated repair cost is provided. At times, it may work out to pay the cost of repair out of pocket, if it allows you to save money, it may be cheaper than using your deductible based on your Protection Plan or Personal Insurance Policy. Can I use toll lanes?
The vehicle is Equipped with Toll Lane Access. The guest is responsible for any and all Toll Lane Access Charges incurred during their reservation. There is no charge to for using the 91Express Lanes. See details below. -50% current toll charge from OC to Riverside, between 4pm & 6pm M-F -Waived Toll Charges valid on 91fwy only on trips from OC to Riverside and Riverside to OC. You are responsible for advising the Host if you use Toll Lanes, due to the fact that it may take 2-3 days for toll lane access charges to appear on the account history.
Do I have to pay for Airport Parking Fees?
When selecting to pick up the vehicle from an airport, the vehicle will be parked in the Airport Public Parking. The guest will be responsible for all parking fees. When you exit the parking lot you will pay for it directly with a kiosk or lot attendant. When returning the vehicle, please be sure to place the ticket in the cup holder or place on the dash or center console. The guest will be invoiced for this cost at upon check out.
How does Unlimited Supercharging Work?
When booking your trip, you must pre-select which Day/s you’d like to utilize. Your 24 hour period/s start based on the time of your reservation times, and are good for 24hours of that time. Ex: Reservation: Start: Friday 10am End: Monday 10am If you opted for 1 day and you selected Saturday for your 24 hour period, it would start at 10am, Saturday morning and End at 10am, Sunday morning. If you opted for 2 days and you selected Saturday and Sunday, your first 24 hour period would start at 10am, Saturday morning and would continue through Sunday and end at 10am, Monday morning. Host was very communicative! We were first time Tesla drivers and he gave a nice overview of Tesla functions. Car was a smooth ride, great sound system, and overall a joy to drive. We paid a fee to have the car dropped off and picked up at our location and it was contactless. The host was incredibly flexible and accommodating for both!
