Description

***Please read FAQ prior to booking if interested in AIRPORT DELIVERY!!!*** __________________________________________________ The Accent is Hyundai’s budget-minded car. While this was once the main arena for the automaker, the last several years have seen a dramatic change in the company. Much like the Japanese before them, Korea’s Hyundai has gone from a purveyor of small econocars to a full line automaker with a varied lineup. But it hasn’t forgotten its roots. Accent comes in two body styles: two-door hatch or four-door sedan. The hatchback offers the highest fuel economy of any car Hyundai sells here, at an estimated 27 mpg around town and 36 mpg on the open road (when the Sonata Hybrid goes on sale it will take that crown). Its sole engine is a 1.6-liter, 110-horsepower inline-four, with either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic. Whether it’s a hatch or a sedan, both transmissions are available. Trim levels are GS, SE, and GLS. The Blue edition, with the highest fuel economy and lowest MSRP, only comes with the five-speed. Anti-lock brakes are optional, a rarity these days, but a tire-pressure monitoring system and six airbags come standard. Bodystyles: Sedan, two-door hatchback Engines: 1.6L I-4 Transmissions: 5-speed manual, 4-speed automatic Models: GS, SE, GLS, Blue There are only minor tweaks to the Accent for 2011. First, the power sunroof, which had only been available — and standard — on the SE model, has been dropped. In addition, due to low demand, Mellow Yellow paint has been discontinued. On the GL, though, the once-optional six-speaker AM/FM/XM/CD/MP3 audio system with iPod/aux jack is now standard. Both hatch and sedan have inoffensive designs, but also aren’t all that exciting. The sportiest model, the SE, comes with 16-inch wheels (14-inchers are standard on all other models) and foglights, among other features. The cabin is functional and uncomplicated. Air-conditioning is standard on all models except the Blue edition. Sportier touches are offered with the SE, such as a B&M shifter, standard cruise control, and steering-wheel-mounted audio controls. With the Honda Fit in the Accent’s size and price category, it would be pretty tough to be the segment leader. It can’t catch the Fit on twisty roads, but does match the Fit in torque, all of 106 pound-feet. There is a sporty model available, the SE, which is a hatchback that comes with a B&M short-shifting manual, sport-tuned suspension, and standard ABS. Driver and passenger front airbags are standard, along with side impact airbags and front and rear head curtains. Disc and drum brakes are standard. ABS isn’t available with the Blue edition, is standard with the SE, and is optional otherwise. Blue: 26 mpg city/36 mpg highway GS, GLS, SE: 27-28 mpg city/34-36 mpg highway Great fuel economy Sporty SE model Six standard airbags Low MSRP Low power Invisible styling ABS is optional Honest and economical

Briefing of terms of service: Please read to eliminate fines or fees! I love giving 5 star ratings plus great reviews and following the terms of service will ensure that... 1. Return car with same level of gas as the trip started with. 2. No smoking/drugs/drinking in vehicle *This equates to up to a $250.00 turo fine* 3. No aggressive driving with speeds above 90mph/aggressive acceleration/unnecessary hard braking 4. Return car clean as it was when trip was initiated. If drop off is at my home location there are free vacuums at 1726 N Country Club Dr. Mesa, AZ 85201. 5. Car wheels/rims must come back undamaged - be vigilant of curbs, pot holes, etc. *Damage to rims range between $150.00 to $600.00* 6. Review your mileage allowance. Turo bills additional miles at $0.75 per mile above your total allocation. This can become expensive... 7. Car must be returned on time. Many cars are rented back to back therefore punctual returns are a necessity! If you need to keep the vehicle longer, please extend before the end of the trip. Otherwise, you could face additional usage charges and late fees. I've noticed these items have been rare points of issue over my first 1500 trips. Please read the following as I've mentioned my preference is leaving clients with stellar reviews to help the ride sharing marketplace thrive from both the owner and renter's perspective. Thank you for observing these guidelines/expectations!

FAQ

  • What are my options for AIRPORT DELIVERY???

Airport Lot Drop: I can leave vehicle at Preflight parking and client will use Preflight shuttle. Upon trip end client will leave car at Preflight where I will pick up. Rate = current delivery rate ******************************************************* *Uber/Lyft fare to my home approximately $35/25 min/23 miles from MESA GATEWAY* ******************************************************* I have 1 option if a person were to want delivery to MESA GATEWAY airport: METHOD A: Airport Lot Drop I will place car in the contiguous lot directly south of the terminal where each client can connect to car and access the keys via a lock box Rate = current delivery rate ___________________________________________________ Delivery logistics primarily depends on 2 factors: 1. The car we rented was very basic. No power windows, no key fob, no automatic locks. The car does not really ride smooth. The engine seems like it could use a tune up. Maybe I’m just used to driving vehicles with more power. I do like that we had a shuttle from the airport to the car. That was very convenient. Patrick was good at communicating and getting back to me when I had questions.

Good experience. Very basic ride. Tire pressure light went on twice so we had to spend $3.75 each time to fill it. Easy to rent from.
