As you pull into the AutoNation dealership, you will see that the Car is on the right hand side of the road, backed-in & likely connected to one of the chargers. If you will be returning the car to this location, please take note of how it is connected. That said, if you leave the car connected on a charger at the end of your trip, you will not be charged with returning it with partial battery charge.
Please return the car clean. No smoking, and with at least 30 miles of charge remaining. Thank you.
How do I charge it?
Home charging (best), this is a great option if you are renting a home with a dryer plug because you can plug it in every night to wake up to a full battery. To support this out in the trunk (under the false bottom) you will find a Tesla gen2 Mobile charger with a NEMA 5-15; 10-30; & 14-50. Destination charging (Great), is best if you will be staying at a hotel or apartment that offers free EV charging in the parking lot. When that happens the most common size plug you find is called a CHAdeMo (J1772) to convert that to a Tesla, you will find an adapter in trunk to allow you to connect it. Finally Super Charging (good), this one is for when you don't have time to charge overnight and/or you need you travel a long distance. IT is the most expensive option because it is pay per use, & after your rental is complete I will charge you incidental equal to the charging fees incurred (original invoices available upon request). To locate one of these looking on GPS for numbers. Those numbers represent the available stalls they currently have. IF you go to a supercharger you can get a full full charge in <60 minutes, BUT it is important to disconnect and move out of the stall as soon as the charging is complete (IF not Tesla charges a "per minute idle penalty fee", that can lead getting towed if someone complains).
How much did you electricity bill go up when you got a Tesla?
The answer to that question is ~$20 (but I drive allot, so that is about ~100 miles a day).
How will I pay tolls during my rental?
The car is equipped with a Sunpass Pro which will let you pay all tolls within Florida (& parking for some places as well, e.g. airports)
What exactly does the key card do?

Eddie is the best! I haven’t drove an EV and he walked me through everything I needed to know. I will refer anyone I know to him! I will definitely be calling Eddie the next time I’m in Florida to visit and to rent his immaculate Tesla. Five stars for Eddie and his sweet ride!
