A 2018 Tesla Model 3 has ~ 358 miles of range and takes about 30 minutes to recharge at one of many superchargers across California. Each charge costs about $15. If you book it, you'll get at least 80% charged and please be responsible to bring it back with at least 70%. That probably means charging the car at a nearby Super Charger station. You can use the car's navigation system to quickly find the nearest charging station. I will pass on the charging costs to you. On average, you can expect to pay $5 to $12 dollars per charge. Are you planning on driving to Los Angeles? Please expect to charge the car a maximum of 4 times (departure & return). Leaving the car idle at the station once it's done charging can incur additional fees. (Supercharging cost will be invoiced after the trip and is the method of charging) If safety is important to you, then Model 3 should be in your consideration. Pickup and return locations Turo allows pickup and returns at International Garages A and G Turo doesn’t allow curbside pickup or return at SFO Fees: SFO requires Turo to collect and remit to the airport a fee that allows your host to deliver a vehicle there. Turo doesn't set this fee, mark it up, or retain any portion of it Guests are responsible for all parking. Airport transportation: AirTrain, a free tram service that stops at all terminals and garages, is available at SFO. It runs 24/7, 365 days a week, and departs every four minutes. Pickup and return instructions: Pickup: International Garages A and G Get in touch with your host to confirm where they parked the vehicle Follow the signs for the AirTrain and take it to the parking garage Exit the garage using the ticket the host left in the vehicle for you Return: International Garages A and G Follow signs for the International Terminal, Hourly Parking and park in either International Garage A or G Pull a ticket at the entrance to International Garages A or G and leave it in the vehicle for your host Follow the signs for the AirTrain and take it to your terminal Use Turo messaging to tell your host the location of the vehicle, including which Garage, Level, and Area. Note: Don’t leave the vehicle unlocked with keys inside when returning the vehicle and checking out remotely.
