For most people entering a GT car, you could describe the situation: normally your pulse quickens, your heart start racing before you even turn the key. Driving a GT is an experience you’re looking forward to, to reward yourself after a hard day of working, for the weekend, driving for the sake of driving. Porsche GT cars exists because in the era of 996 Carrera, Porsche needed a race car to homologate. There they created a batch of 200 units with all the ingredients. The internal project was code named GT3, but in the mean time the GT series cars has become its own brand, its own myth, it has created a niche of its own. It’s very close to the core of the Porsche brand, to motor sports. It’s a distilled essence of all the virtues a Porsche stands for. The GT4 is a very emotional car, it’s a car that feels more like a companion than a machine. It’s a car that talks to you and has a communication between man and machine. When the engineers at Porsche Weissach Motorsport division designed the GT4, they took the 981 Cayman mid-engine chassis, the detuned 3.8L engine from the 991.1, the full front suspension from the 991.1 GT3, and combined everything to form a monster that completely changes everything what you thought a car should feel and drive. Available for long term rental. Car uses Premium unleaded gas (91+ Octane) Car is registered with Fastrak. I will bill you at the end of your trip for any tolls incurred.. Can I fit my carry-on bags in the trunk?
Please measure your bags. The trunk space is limited: 27x17x16 inches are the dimensions for the front. And 33x17x8 inches for the back. Recommend to pack light when renting this car!
What type of gas should I use to fill the car? and do I need to fill the gas tank when returning?
Premium unleaded gasoline 91+ Octane. Yes, you need to replace the gas to the level it was at when you first took delivery of the car. For your convenience, I can fill the gas for you and send you a bill through the Turo App at the end of your trip.
How do I add a second or third driver to the trip?
Before adding another driver, they would need to create a Turo account and get approved similar to how you, the primary driver was setup in the first place. Under the trip section there is a place to add the approved driver's email address. How should I handle bridge tolls?
The vehicle license plates are registered with Fastrak. You do not need to stop at the toll plaza and you may use the Fastrak lanes. I will bill you at the end of your trip through the Turo App.
Can I park my vehicle on your street while I enjoy your rental?
Yes, you can safely park your car on my street while you enjoy your rental. Plenty of free street parking, and it's also a very safe neighborhood.
Do I need to wash the car when returning?
No, do not wash the car when returning. A cleaning fee will only be charged in severe cases related to the interior, e.g. spilled liquids, pet hair removal, smoke smell, etc.
