I've rented from Turo a number of times and I have hosted 3 different vehicles for over 3 years (including a 2007 Porsche Carrera S) so I think I have a pretty good perspective on Turo. that said, I was not 100% happy with the experience of renting this Tesla. First, I take a little bit of the blame. This is my first Tesla and I should have read more about charging details, controls, etc. that said, I couldn't find the charge adapter (hidden in glove box) so I lost my place in free charging at work. Then the right rear door lock seemed to be broken and it opened twice in traffic. Dangerous. Then the car felt well, old. Which is strange to say about a Tesla. Other than that, the owner's communication was pretty good. Although I wish I'd been told how billing for supercharging worked and where the adapter was. Other than that the experience was okay.

Miguel is a communicative host; If you are new to the area, it may be best to schedule a pickup time in daylight; otherwise, finding the car in a parking lots full of Teslas... The Key fob battery was low, and the car warned me that I would be unable to restart it once it had been parked. Luckily I received that message on my way to drop the car back off, but that warning made it to where I was nervous about running one more errand for fear I would be stranded somewhere in Cali with no feasible way to return the car.

Car was in great condition, sparkling clean and a pleasure to drive. Miguel was fantastic with communication and the whole experience from pick up to drop off was as easy as it could be.

Great car, small issue with the key not being recognized by the car sometimes but works perfectly fine when placed in the armrest compartment
