Liked the car handling...but there was a lot to learn....starting...shutting off....locking....keyboard was not easy to use....history was responsive.....will probably be my last EV rental...I own an EV but had a lot of trouble charging..very few chargers ans many did not work....one place in Agora hills had only 2 chargers working and 6 cars in line....and the # miles expected was way too high....got about 200 miles from an 80% charge

Michael's Lucid Air was impeccably clean and maintained. It drives like a dream (extremely smooth and quiet) and has incredible range (almost 400 miles), meaning I only had to charge once before returning the vehicle. Compared to any Tesla I've driven, the ride compliance and driving dynamics are generally far superior. Pickup and dropoff was only 8 minutes from LAX so very convenient. Communication with Michael was very responsive and detailed anytime I had questions about the vehicle or about pickup/dropoff.
The only minor issue is that there is no keyfob, only a card which you must tediously touch against the car to lock/unlock the vehicle. You also cannot use the smartphone app to lock/unlock the car since Lucid requires you use the same single login/password to access the vehicle. (It doesn't make sense for Michael to share his personal login/password). This is a Lucid specific issue and will hopefully be fixed with a future update.
Overall would 100% rent this Lucid and from Michael again! Thanks Michael!
