The VW Bus is conspicuous, especially in two-tone white and baby blue. It’s instantly recognizable, and gives off all of the good vibes. But you have to like getting attention. People can’t help but smile at you, wave, take pictures, and gesture for you to roll down the window to converse. VW Bus truly feels larger inside than it looks to be from the outside. Short wheelbase allows easy parking. Z-type bed converts to the 3rd row 2 passenger seat. Along with a camping table, second row 3 passenger bench seat and front 2 seats this vehicle accommodates 7 people in comfort and classic style. Economical, simple and reliable 1.6L engine gets you around town for drops of fuel. If you're not renting this for a photo or video shoot, consider of having one anyway. Those vehicles are getting very hard to find yet everyone remembers them as one of the coolest vehicles ever build. Note: odometer reads in kilometers. If vehicle is picked up from LAX Budget Parking, the guest is responsible to pay parking fees to exit the parking lot. If the vehicle needs to be towed due to mechanical breakdown, contact the host first to provide private roadside assistance. If the vehicle needs to be towed due to an accident, contact Turo to arrange towing.

Rules: No drive thru's, covered parking or driving under overhangs of any kind. This vehicle is too tall! It is 7 ft. tall. Be aware that you are driving a large Classic 48HP vehicle and other drivers on the road will be cutting you off and not wanting to let you change lanes or sit on your tail. Plan ahead for freeway changes and exits and pay attention! Take wide turns and watch the swing of the rear. Please pay attention to your pick up time and return, we set appointments to make sure we are available to give you training on the vehicle, take photos and complete the check in. Any changes to pickup times need to be made with reasonable advance notice. We expect our camper we rent to you to come back in the same condition as you got it in. This includes all inventory and interior items and cleanliness. No smoking, incense, or any other "smoke" inside. Off Road use is NOT permitted.

This was by far one of very best experiences I have had renting a vehicle. Easy pick up. Great contact with owner who was always available and extremely helpful with my questions. We loved the bus. Loved the vibe. Loved its dependability. We had an all around great California experience in it. Will definitely rent again from him.

Michal and the vehicle were both excellent. Picking up and dropping off was super efficient and easy. The videos he provided on how to operate this vintage car were very clear and super helpful as well. We had a great weekend beach trip. As someone who has rented VW buses in the past through Turo I can say this was my best experience yet! Highly recommend!
