This rental was a complete disaster from start to finish. The vehicle was falsely advertised and in dangerously poor condition. The car was speed-limited to 80 MPH and the volume was restricted to 30%, completely undermining the experience you’d expect from a performance vehicle. Ronald never disclosed these restrictions upfront.

The registration was expired, and instead of resolving the issue properly, Ronald offered to downgrade me to a much lower quality “Grand Coupe” as a so-called solution.

The car itself was mechanically unsafe: it had mismatched tires on all four corners, including 225mm tires on the rear—completely inadequate for a 5.0L V8. This caused severe traction issues, and the vehicle lurched violently to the left under acceleration, nearly spinning out at highway speeds. That’s not just disappointing—it’s a serious safety hazard.

Pickup was also a nightmare. The instructions were vague and sent only after I had already arrived. Despite being just 30 minutes late, Ronald refused to activate the vehicle remotely (which he easily could’ve done), leaving me stranded in the Vegas heat for 20 minutes with no explanation and a rude attitude.

Worse, Ronald rents through a dealership, not as an individual owner, which means you’re better off just renting directly through Ford or a real agency. He also refused to communicate through Turo’s messaging system, preferring phone calls to avoid creating a written record of his misconduct.

To top it off, the listing even includes a photo of the car at full power, which is completely misleading considering the car I received was crippled, unsafe, and nearly unusable in normal Vegas traffic (75 MPH zones).

If you value safety, transparency, and your time—do not rent from Ronald. If that’s even his real name…

The car was really nice no mechanical issues but the whole time I was on vacation I felt like I had a controlling stepdad the volume of the radio do not go above 14 due to the owner controlling, which is very low for the car to be loud and droptop and also control the speed of the car and top off at 80…

Car was great. However host was very unprofessional and charged me for wrong drop off location. When I dropped it off at the same location I picked it up at. Then says gas was full and it wasn't. It had 3/4 tank. I returned it on 3/4 and he also charged me $50 for gas. I filled it up with 30. So if you charging me 50 and it already had 3/4 tank of gas. You scamming me. Beware! Sounds like host is desperate for money
