1. No smoking. 2. Proof of negative COVID test required, except for Maui County residents who haven't traveled outside the County in the 14 days prior to picking up the rental. 3. Prohibited from driving backside of Haleakala ("backside to Hana", between the O'heo Gulch and Upcountry) and top of the Westside loop (past the blowhole when coming from Lahaina). Note: most nationwide rental car companies have the same restrictions - the roads listed just aren't good for visitors, too narrow, too gnarly, and too remote. Stay safe!
