Please do not take the car onto any other LAX properties to avoid a $200 penalty. 2. No Smoking or Pets: The car is smoke-free and pet-free for your comfort. Violations will result in a $150 fee. 3. Driving Guidelines: No racing, tracking, or driving on dirt roads. Let’s keep the driving fun and safe! 4. Charging: Please use only Tesla charging stations for charging. Return the car with the same charge level as when you received it. If the charge is lower, a recharge fee of up to $100, plus a $10 convenience fee, may apply. 5. Key Replacement: Make sure to return the key with the car. If the key is missing, a $300 replacement fee will apply, plus any additional programming costs. Renting the Tesla Model 3 through Turo was a fantastic experience! The host was great—communicative, clear, and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and pleasant rental. The car itself was clean, fun to drive, and a real money-saver when it came to fuel. I only spent $18 and $15 on recharging throughout the trip—way less than what I would’ve spent on gas, especially with some stations charging $5 a gallon.
One piece of advice: if you're flying in, definitely choose the airport pickup option. I initially tried to save a little by picking it up elsewhere, but honestly, the added stress wasn’t worth it.
The Tesla driving experience is different and took a bit of getting used to, but once I got the hang of it, I loved it. I’ll definitely be renting from this host again in the future!
