OMG! I was driving along obeying all traffic rules, but stopped randomly by the police because the police ran the license plate and Alijaz Almani’s car was not insured! The police came up on me with his hand on his gun, so I froze in place. The police then said that he only stopped me because of no insurance on the car. I explained to the police that it was a Turo car, but they were going to fine me and give me a ticket anyway. I then showed them that I bought the supplemental Turo insurance, but that does not take into effect on an uninsured car. Finally, I showed the police the insurance on my personal car, and that was the only thing that stopped me from being fined and ticketed for Aijaz Almani’s not insuring THEIR vehicle. The police then took my driver’s license and ran some sort of background check on me. I have lived the life of Mother Teresa, so they found nothing on me. Next, they did their police report on me, and gave me my driver’s license back. This whole fiasco took an hour! I told Alijaz Almani about the incident when I dropped off the car early - I will not drive an uninsured car because of the huge liability. They just blew me off and claimed that they don’t need insurance, despite the fact that I gave them police proof to the contrary. I will never rent from Alijaz Almani again!
