The car was nice and clean and host was genuinely nice, but the stress of almost missing my flight back home was not worth booking again. I’ve picked up several cars via Turo at airports, but the pickup and specifically the drop off on this reservation was extremely stressful. Love Field is a small airport, so should be simple…..but meeting at the arrivals is not okay! You cannot stand or park at arrivals, so how in the world do I “check in” at midnight? I couldn’t do this until I got to my destination b/c it just was not safe. Had we met at ground transportation, this could have happened. Couldn’t get them to meet me there after being in the phone for quite some time.. At drop off, they were supposed to meet me at ground transportation level, but was a no show and I had to catch a flight back home. I was lied to about how far away they were and finally was told to abandon the car where it was at with key inside. You cannot just walk away from a car at the airport at ground transportation or arrivals. I had to make a decision quick, so took the car to parking garage and send owner a video of where it was at. At this points I was 30 mins later than planned and showed up to my gate at my boarding group was being scanned for the flight. WAY TOO MUCH STRESS and completely unnecessary. Please get organized and have a better plan for those traveling via air.
