  • Is eating allowed inside the vehicle?

    Yes. If you do eat inside the car please be careful and be as clean as possible when doing so. We will also recommend keeping the car ventilated while transporting food as well to eliminate the smell of food.

  • How do I use and pay for the Supercharger network?

    Simply park and plug in your vehicle using the connector at the Supercharger post. Once plugged in, the vehicle's charge port LED will flash green to indicate that charging has started. The payment will be processed directly from the payment method in our Tesla Account (Reimbursement request will be sent after your trip)

  • Where can I find current and existing Supercharger stations?

    To find a Supercharger station near you, visit the interactive Find Us map.

  • Am I responsible for a flat tire?

    Yes. Unfortunately, flat tires are a fact of life in driving cars, and you as a guest are responsible for a flat tire that occurs during the trip, as well as any related damage that may result from that flat or damaged tire. All guests must receive approval for a replacement tire and must replace the tire with one of equal or greater quality.

  • Why you are going with the Model 3 Long Range, not standard?

  • Are Superchargers always open?

    Almost all Supercharger stations are open for charging 24 hours a day. However, nearby amenities are subject to business hours.

  • How do I open the glovebox?

    To open the glove box, tap the car icon (Controls) at the corner of the screen and then tap the Glove box button on the screen. The glove box automatically opens and the light turns on.

  • What happens if you return a car a few hours late?

    Additional usage charges: - 0-29 minutes late: No charge - 30 minutes to 1 hour 59 minutes late: ½ the average daily trip price; $50* improper return fee at Turo’s discretion** - 2 hours or more late: Average daily trip price for 1 day + $20* late return fee; $50* improper return fee at Turo’s discretion**

  • Is smoking or pet allowed inside the vehicle?

    There is absolutely no smoking/pet permitted inside the vehicle of ANY KIND. For any signs of smoking/pet hairs there will be a fee ($150) added to your trip.

  • Need to extend your trip?

    Go in trip details and click on extend trip. As long as the car is available I will approve it. Please make sure to extend before the current trip ends

  • Free John Wayne Airport Delivery and Parking Fee

    - We are offering FREE John Wayne Airport Delivery. - Guests will be responsible for parking fee up to 2-4 Hour's charge (Approximately $8-16) before trip start. - When you return the car back to the airport parking garage, we will pay the parking garage fee and request reimbursement from you at the end of the trip (up to $30).

  • When Your Tesla Battery Reaches 0%

    Your Tesla will no longer be able to drive once its main battery pack runs out of power. You can monitor how much power your Tesla's battery pack has by looking at the range and battery meter located at the top of your Tesla's large touchscreen display. The color of the little battery icon will change from green to yellow to red as the battery gets down to its last bit of juice. Think of it like a low-fuel light on a gasoline car — or the battery indicator on your phone. Additionally, Tesla's vehicles give you plenty of warning as the end draws near, with multiple notifications popping up to tell you that the battery is getting low and needs to be recharged soon. When it gets really low, your Tesla will suggest charging locations like the nearest Supercharger and let you know when you're getting out of range of the nearest one. There are plenty of warnings before you strand yourself, so heed them.

  • Do we have to clean the car when returning?

  • How does Autopilot work?

  • Guest responsibility for tolls

    - Guests are responsible for paying the cost of any tolls or fees during their trip. - Mostly toll invoices received within 90 days after a trip ends - You have 48 hours to pay or dispute the invoice. Open the link in the email or notification or open Trips, open the History tab, and open the trip to view the invoice on the Details page. Tap “Accept and pay” or “Dispute.”

  • Someone hit the vehicle and it is now damaged, what do I do?

    First, make sure you pull aside if possible and get to a safe area. Next please take multiple pictures of the damage and notify your host immediately to help with resolving the issue.

  • Are car seats installed for guest ?

    Car seats will be placed in the trunk or band seat, but they will not be pre-installed. it will be guest's responsibility to make sure the seat is adjusted to their kid needs and properly secured to the anchors..

  • What if I Need Extra Mileage

    If you drive beyond the designated mileage limit for your rental, you will be charged an extra fee per mile, and the exact cost varies depending on the specific car you choose; you can see the exact per-mile charge on the "trip details" section of the app.

  • How Do I Add an Additional Driver?

    1. Sign into the app or log on to turo.com and open the Trips tab 2. Choose Upcoming trips and open the trip you’re interested in 3. Scroll down to the section labeled ADDITIONAL DRIVERS 4. Tap “Add driver” 5. Enter the email tied to your driver’s Turo account; if they don’t have one, enter an email they check regularly 6. Tell your driver to check for an email from Turo; it could end up in their spam/junk folder

  • Do I Need to Return an Electric Car Rental With a Full Charge?

    Please return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel or battery charge as when they picked it up. Recharging fee: The difference between the battery level when the car was picked up and when it was returned Convenience fee: A $10 fee automatically added to recharging invoices Low battery level fee: A $20 fee if the battery level is less than 20% when the car is returned Eligible battery level charges: 0%--10% battery difference = Not eligible for reimbursement 11% – 30% battery difference = $5* 31% – 60% battery difference = $15* 61%– 80% battery difference = $20* 81%+ battery difference = $25*
