Please make sure that range is enough for your travel needs. We only offer charging of our Tesla vehicle at Tesla charging stations as they will recognize each other. All guests have to do is plug in and the charging session fees will download into their Turo reservation. Guests will be billed at the end of their trip through the Turo App. Tesla Pro Tips ● Battery Usage: Vehicle range listed on the Tesla display is only an estimate of the max range available. Actual range depends on what features you are using in the vehicle that requires electricity. Driving range will be reduced by using the Air Conditioning, Audio system, Interior and Exterior lights, and especially driving in hilly terrain. ● Battery Usage While Idle: Cabin overheat protection is a setting that turns on the vehicle Air Conditioning when it senses that the temperature have reached 90/95/100 degrees. That means during the summer months the vehicle AC can be running all day and night. If you see that you are not using the vehicle but the battery is being depleted you must turn off this setting. The battery can be completely drained within 6 days if left on. ● One Pedal Driving: Tesla uses regenerative braking, so you’ll notice the car slows down when you release the accelerator. No need to press the brake as much, just ease off the pedal. Tesla Quick Start Guide for First-Time Renters Welcome to your Tesla experience! Parking ● P Park: To park, pull the stalk toward you for “Park.” Always make sure the car is fully stopped before shifting to Park. 7. Media & Navigation ● Music/Media: Tap the Media icon on the screen to connect to Spotify, Apple Music, or other services. ● Navigation: Tap the Map icon to input a destination. The system will guide you with turn-by-turn directions. It also displays nearby charging stations if needed. 8.
