There were various communication issues that occurred through the trip, and some could have been avoided with better responsiveness from the host. The car itself drove very well, but the engine light had turned on halfway through my trip and was not examined. I was worried I would be unable up use the car, though that did not end up happening. This was my first time using Turo, but likely my last time as well. Rental car companies are more cumbersome but at least more communicative, and the cars more reliable. I would prefer to stick to that for something as important as transportation.

The car was is excellent condition, but the key was slightly bent. So we had trouble getting it out each time we stopped somewhere. Once we realized this was the problem, we figured out how to remove it by pulling it out opposite the bend. Mauricio was a great host, and checked in throughout the trip to make sure we were ok.

Niyah

This car needs a deep cleaning. The steering wheel was sticky so I wiped it off and the wipe turned grey/ brown. The seats and armrest are visibly dirty. The car front window had a internal cloudy film on it at night. The car is in need of new brakes & the service light came on while I was driving. The car did get me from point A to point B and is great on gas.
