This car has a West End parking permit, so it can park for free anywhere in the West End in designated permit holder spaces. The car has low fuel consumption and looks cool. People smile when they see this car. An Apple AirTag is used for emergency tracking of keys and documents. At the client's request, the Apple AirTag can also be shared with the client, so you will always be able to locate the car and keys.

What kind of gas should be put in the tank?

Where is the gas tank?
On the right side of the car (behind the passenger door).
Where is the spare tire?
Instead of a spare tire, the Smart has a repair kit. It is located in the trunk lid.
What are the instructions for picking up the car?
The car is parked near the house where I live. You come to the car, and I will bring you the key.
How to open the trunk?
Double-click the left button on the key fob. One click unlocks only the driver's door. A double-click unlocks all the doors and the trunk. After opening the upper glass part of the door, you will see two levers on the sides of the lower part of the trunk. Pulling either of them will open the lower part of the trunk door.

Overall worked well for what I needed (driving up to cypress, to Burnaby mountain, and to airport throughout the weekend). Clean and small and gas was cheap. A few things a bit tricky - passenger seatbelt was difficult to fasten, ride wasn’t the smoothest, couldn’t figure out how to open the back door haha. But host was great with communication and it was functional and fun to have.

The red seatbelt button was sticking. I lubricated it, and now it works properly.
Ride smoothness: Yes, the Smart doesn’t ride as smoothly as cars with automatic transmissions. This is because Smarts of this generation have manual transmissions, but the Smart shifts automatically with a robot that engages the clutch and selects the gear.
I’ve also added an FAQ answer on how to open the trunk. The Smart’s trunk door is unique! :)
