What should I do if I get a flat tire?
If you get a flat tire, call for roadside assistance. In the US, call 1-[Number redacted for privacy and security]. Once you’ve arranged for help, call me. If the tire is repairable, it might be best to do so. If there’s sidewall damage or the tire isn’t repairable, get my go signal to replace the tire with one of equal or greater quality. Pay for the cost of the tire at full price, regardless of tire use before the incident. You’re not responsible for replacing any of the non-damaged tires.
Can I extend my trip?
If you need more time for your trip, notify the me and request and extension. In the app, tap "Change trip" to submit your request. If the request is denied, it is highly possible I already committed to another reservation.
Who pays for bridge or toll roads?
Guests are responsible for paying any bridge or road tolls, including tolls incurred while using our transponder device. If you fail to pay a toll within the allotted timeframe, you may be responsible for escalated charges. If you incur toll charges while on a trip, notify us as soon as possible. I have 90 days after a trip ends to send you an invoice for toll costs. Transponder number 10300071091551
What to do if you get into an accident?
-The Turo insurance card is located in the glove box -Call Turo at 1-[Number redacted for privacy and security] for 24/7 customer support -Please report all accidents to Turo as soon as possible. Always obtain the following information of each driver, passenger, and witness (name, address, phone number, name of insurance company and policy from the vehicles involved) -Take pictures or videos of the damage
Who pays for parking fees?
Parking fees will be our Guests responsibility when entering a facility that requires you to pay a fee to enter or exit.
Can someone else drive the car?
If you want someone to help you with the driving, you'll need to add them as an additional driver. Secondary 1. have an account and be approved to drive on Turo 2. access the vehicle only with primary driver present 3. drive only with the primary driver present
