The van was great, no complaints. The pickup/dropoff procedure at the airport was not convenient or well-communicated at the time of booking. Pickup involved first driving off the airport grounds to complete the transfer, then returning to pick up my family and luggage. At drop-off, I was required to drop my family at the airport and then return the van to long term parking, which was a skytrain ride away from the terminal. These procedures easily added 30-45min to each end of the trip. If we hadn't been so early to the airport, we could have missed our flight home. For airport pickups, ABC should clearly explain this process in the listing, prior to booking. Even though the van and price were great, I would not rent again if arriving via air to Vancouver.

I was a little nervous about renting a car through Turo, but my first experience went extremely well. For the cost savings, even some of the more inconvenient issues were moot, such as returning the car to the long term parking lot, and then having to take the skytrain (which was very convenient anyway, but the $40 price tag for 4 people to take the train to the airport was not exactly expected!). The car was brand new, only had about 500km on it, and was clean and easy to drive. The contact picked me up from the airport and drove me to a nearby Tim Horton's to hand off the key and provide instructions, then I had to drive back to the airport to pick up my family. Even though the car was new, there was a faint odour in the car, we attempted to air it out and used febreeze, but it being a new car, had no idea what it could have been. I did notify the host and let them know, and they said they would check it out, so communication was really great. There is a drive limit of 1700km, but even with a trip to the island and lots of driving around, we were well under. All in all, a very good option for less than the airport rental companies, even though drop off and pick up were a little unconventional. Thank you, ABC.

Process was straightforward and easy. Communication was great and frequent. Would rent with them again! Highly recommend!
